Mini-NotW IV: I'm on a Boat (GAME THREAD)

OOC Note: Sometimes I will use people in the write-ups for flavor. These are chosen completely at random by a roll of a die, or because they suit the part well, such as the dwarf remarking about the strength of the chains. This in no way implicates them, and inclusion in any writeup should never be used as evidence against someone for any reason unless there has been some obvious in game effect that I have described.

The inclusion of a random player, in this case the Bodyguard (who was chosen at random), was to "prove" that the wench had in fact tripped over a cannonball, seeing as night injuries have so far thrown suspicion on the Royal Guard.

Ow. Not only was I attacked 2 nights ago, but CCRunner was attacked last night. I'm accused for protecting the diplomat and saving his life?!? I think I deserve the oars for all the damage this ship has done to me.

Once again the opening post reveals more than the update
Royal Guard Bratmon fends off another attack

So I'll withdraw my accusation. royal guard

"I agree that my husband's bodyguard should keep hold of the oar. He has at least managed to stay alive so far and one oar is useless without the other. I don't know what I am supposed to do with a corpse, except perhaps to have a meaningful conversation for a change, so I don't want it. I also agree that Bratmon has lots of explaining to do."

What must I explain about? I was attacked, then CCRunner was attacked. Simple as that.

Also, the corpse should be given a proper burial at sea.

behead the corpse, then burial at sea...

I would also like to hear the Navigators opinion in all this.

I have been plotting charts all this time, I feel a burial at sea is appropriate, but what to do with the oar I am not sure.

I agree that Bratmon is the most suspicious here. Are numbers are small indeed and the thought that two of us will kill different targets each night is too unlikly. Also that they will indeed attack the Diplomat until they kill him. Your story is exactly that, a story. Your wounds are more likly recieved from killing others on this voyage Cannible!

"Whatcha want me t'explain, cap'n? I just found a grizzly corps' after trippin' and sprainin' mah ankle. Speakin' of that corpse, let's throw it overboard. It makes m' sick to mah stomach to look at."

The wench sits down to take weight off the sprained ankle. "I'm glad mah job doesn't require me t' stand up, after all. Still, hurts like hell...", she mutters.

Bratmon is innocent, you all are killing the greatest protector this ship has. His account of last night's events is accurate. I was attacked by some sort of nightmarish power in the night and the royal guard bravely fended it off.

Krill, why do you want to behead the corpse and then throw it overboard?

Do you wish to keep the head for a midnight snack?

"Seems to me Krill knows more about this corpse than others."

"Well, I think for now that this great warrior Bratmon is a great asset to the ship and protecting those who are in need. I think, if you saved two people you might have proven your innocence by then."

The slave looks around, then casts a foul glare at the Secretary.

"Secretary Sepuku, explain yourself. Even when they literally say he has been fending off attacks, you still accuse him. More likely you have something to hide yourrself."

No slave, I have been conversing with others in a more privet setting and we find it unlikly that there are two different attacks each night on a boat this small. Surely we would see or hear something...I withdraw my vote against Bratmon for the moment. However until something comes up to prove other wise I will watch you very closely Bratmon...and you as well CCRunner. I do hope that I am wrong but at the moment there is nothing else to do except spin around in a circle with your eyes closed and choose somebody to die. While you may be relishing this Slave, normally people like to make decisions based on logic and something about the Diplomat's and the Royal Guard's claim sounds fishy...especially when the Diplomat is hassling me whereever I go to try and give Bratmon the key (the ore) to a possible escape.

Perhaps we could all get an explination Bratmon? CCRunner? I know I am not the only one you stalk trying to get that Ore to Bratmon. Are you two trying to leave us here to deal with the killers while you row away safe?

Sepuku, you know why I "hassled" you... (asked a single time more like, as I have done with multiple of you). I've made no secret that I and the royal guard are a pair....and you are with us. Oh yes, Sepuku desires to see us safely off this ship or at least he should. And yet, here you are posting something that intentionally does the exact opposite of advance that goal.

Sepuku, I name you murderer.

I want the head thrown overboard as well. I just want to be sure that thing doesn't become alive again...and if it does I want it to be searching for a long time for its' lost head.

"Krill I still want to hear your explanation for your plans with the body, however I have heard much about Sepuku none of it is positive. Let him walk the plank I say!"

(Cross post. Ok Krill.)

"Wit' all due respect, Ah think Bratmon has proved his innocence beyond dou'ts, more than can be said fer most of the crew. I do not want ter see him walk the plank. Then rather Sepuku an' his paranoid fant'sies about the diplomat and the royal guard leavin' the rest of us b'hind. Real Lanun men would never do that, wouldya, CC?"

"I retract my vote against the Navigator and place it instead against that dratted Sepuku"

Krill, you still have not told us why you wish to behead the corpse before throwing the body in there, but I think Sepuku is Suspiscious
