For me when I get tired of seeing a English or French Mexico I give the Spanish a Caravel in the Carribean at about 1450 AD, and usually France or Spain gets the Inca.
That wouldn't really be a minor change though, right?I'd like to see the Holy Romans spawn in 800 AD,with the Germans spawning anywhere between 1650 - 1850 AD.
The Germans UU and UHV is modern,and by the time you have a good force of panzers,you probably won the game.On the other hand,the Holy Romans UU is more medieval.And for thirr UHV it could be like:
Control Central Europe by 1200 AD
Control the Baltic Sea by 1500 AD
Control Italy (and maybe France) by 1700 / Have 7 extra european colonies by 1800.
And for a UP it could be
Power of the Empire
Civs are more likley to become your vassal
or....
Power of the Pope
Civs are likely to convert to your religion.
Cultural oriented special power could be more accurate, or something about the manpower (basic troups easier to recruit?). I am not convinced historically that the diplomatic power is very logical even if it makes playing France interesting, surrounded by European powers.
The second is about Germany. I agree with the idea of a Holy Roman German Empire. Germay doesn't really exists as such during the renaissance and the objectives come pretty late in the game. And, why should germany conquier Greece?
Another thing is the date of start of these two civilizations. you can't really talk about France or Germany before the split of Charlemagne's Empire. Or you should go back a little earlier for France and the foundation of the Frank's Realm after the collapse of the western Roman Empire. Before and during the reign of Charlemagne, France and germany are almost the same country.
Ok i have boosted the keshik to 12 power and to 3 in movements and i reduce their cost and...the mongols still not invade china!
I don't know if this is scripted but even with a big military power, the AI mongols don't invade china, is somebody knows how to change that?
Changing the power value in the XML might help. The AI is very timid in the use of its units. Undoing some AI changes that came about after the 3.13 patch would also make it more aggressive.
