Is there a large minority population in your town? What's your opinion?

Hmm, I'm personally not interested at all, and I do respect your choice not giving that information out, but why would you hide your location with such determination, when for example every single mod at this forum can see your IP, which can be traced to "some place in the US"? Just asking, because I honestly can't understand. I mean, unless you use some kind of really advanced proxy system, I don't know what's the point. :)

BUT YOU'RE NOT A MOD... :D

Sorry, I'm not 18 yet. My mommy told me not go talk to strangers...I don't want to get introuble. :(

But here's the actually breakdown for the city I live in.

As of the census[11] of 2000, there were 30,004 people, 8,260 households, and 7,582 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,290.0/km² (3,340.5/mi²). There were 8,395 housing units at an average density of 360.9/km² (934.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 55.75% Asian, 28.37% White, 4.20% African American, 0.24% Native American, 0.08% Pacific Islander, 7.65% from other races, and 3.71% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 19.34% of the population. The median income for a household in the city was $97,367, and the median income for a family was $106,996.

And if you happen to Google the above passage, you can find the city I live in.

Very distinct and defined culture. also hate to be lumped with others, especially other Eastern European nations. for example, if there were 20 poles, 10 latvians, and 10 russians, 20 british, 20 italians, and 20 hispanic people, when I talk about groups of people, I might NORMALLY say Eastern European, British, Italian, Latino. HOWEVER, Poles (from my experience) really dislike the first label, so it becomes Poles, Eastern Europeans, British, Italians, Latinos

Because we are in central Europe, not Eastern? Also, merging all nations east to Germany is not nice, esp. when it comes to big nations, like Poles or Ukrainians. Imagine Poles merging English and French into one "West European" group, while still separating Latvians from Lithuanians and Estonians...

As an American, this would not bother me.

You white people...so picky with things regarding labels :)

Welcome to Walnut, Califonia!
Yes im really bored....its 8.50 am in the morning...

Ofcourse Theyy have done more than one thing that we disprove of. The jews having the good jobs is no excuse. They stole those jobs from Germans. I do respect jewish intellegence and I admire the jews for their hard work. I have nothing against jews, I just don't like their strong influence on Europe.

Remeber that this is 2008 not 1933, the world is different. Our politics have changed and adapted to the 21st century. NS today isn't what it used to be.

many commies where jews
Also we generally disaprove that a minority group has more than its fair share of power.

I'm honestly not sure whether you amuse me, frighten me, or disgust me more. its amusing that anyone can believe that bs. its also frightening that you believe that bs and live by it. it disgusts me that the only thing some people have learned from history is how to hide their blatant anti-semitism better.

so here's the deal. first, i will criticize your source.

Jew Watch is a known anti-semitic hate site. it has been condemned all over, from jews and non-jews alike. it was discussed at the World Conference Against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance. Preparatory Committee Second session, sponsored by the United Nations (who aren't exactly famous for their support of israel). furthermore, it makes multiple irrational claims.

Zionist America Has Lost Every War for 100 Years

so, this website claims that America has lost every single war since 1908? really now?

america did not lose WWI. they won. they did not reap the spoils, but if not for a single act of congress, they could have.

they did not lose WWII by ANY stretch of the imagination. it won. VE day. VJ day. atomic bombs were dropped.

World War Two - End-Game Standoff - USSR Steals Poland & Half of Europe

first of all, US and USSR were...ALLIED. jeeniyus stuff, isn't it! because someone you don't support won, clearly the US lost too.

as well, what of...
the
Invasion of Grenada?
US won.

many others too.

POPE JOHN PAUL IS JEWISH!

my favourite parts of the section: she must be jewish, her last name can be shortened into Katz, a jewish last name, and

Notice the Jewish facial characteristics of the Pope's Mother, Emily Katz, who was born "Emilia Kaczorowska."

lol@phrenology

Your stupid website's list of Jewish Hate Groups

The ANTI-DEFAMATION LEAGE is a hate group? wow you guys are desperate.

The ADL is the group that speaks out against racism, so i guess it is kind of true that we hate your blatantly anti-semitic, holocaust denying hate site.

The ADL believes it is important to remember the Holocaust, in order to prevent such an event from ever coming to pass again. Along with sponsoring events and fighting Holocaust deniers and revisionists, the ADL has been active in urging action to stop modern-day "ethnic cleansing" and genocide in places such as Bosnia and Darfur, Sudan.

and they are not only for jews, but for other groups too

As its goal is to defend not only Jews, but also "all citizens alike and to put an end forever to unjust and unfair discrimination against and ridicule of any sect or body of citizens," the ADL has periodically made statements against misrepresentations of other faiths. For example, when the anti-Mormon film "The God Makers" was produced, Rhonda M. Abrams, Central Pacific (San Francisco) Regional Director for the ADL wrote a critical review, including the following statement:
Had a similar movie been made with either Judaism or Catholicism as its target, it would be immediately denounced for the scurrilous piece that it is. I sincerely hope that people of all faiths will similarly repudiate "The Godmakers" as defamatory and untrue, and recognize it for what it truly represents—a challenge to the religious liberty of all.

the ADL is for "Fighting antisemitism, bigotry, and racism", not a proponent of it.

http://www.jewwatch.com/jew-holocaust-revisionism.html

So the holocaust didn't happen? is that your belief too? really?

so I could go on about that piece of (take a wild guess, really) website, but i won;t unless you really need more proof. now on to your points

Ofcourse Theyy have done more than one thing that we disprove of. The jews having the good jobs is no excuse. They stole those jobs from Germans

Wrong. Nobody is entitled to a job. you must earn a job, work for it. You cannot simply go and say to anybody "I am swedish, you are not, that is my job". they worked hard to get the job, it is theirs. also, these jews had been living in Germany for 100s of years. they fought FOR germany in WWI, and the Franco-Prussian war. they WERE germans. being german and being jewish were not opposites until nuremberg. many of the jews were non-religious and were secular germans of jewish heritage. they didn't steal jobs, they worked for them. they were persecuted the same.

I do respect jewish intellegence and I admire the jews for their hard work. I have nothing against jews, I just don't like their strong influence on Europe.

then make your own influence. how does 0.22% of the world have so much influence? because we work hard. we have as much influence as we have worked for, and no more. we own hollywood? produce your own movies. we own the media? start up your own tv and newspaper conglomeration. work hard, and you will reap the rewards the same way that influential jews did. it was not "you are jewish? here, have some power!"

Remeber that this is 2008 not 1933, the world is different. Our politics have changed and adapted to the 21st century. NS today isn't what it used to be.

Thank god for that, it is the closest thing to a saving grace of it all (and saving grace is stretching it more than a little)

many whites were commies too. so were swedes. Jews were PERSECUTED in the soviet union, but maybe your REVISIONIST site wouldnt have told you that.

Also we generally disaprove that a minority group has more than its fair share of power.

as stated above, you want power? work for it.

Apparently, I live in the same city you live in. Do you go to Walnut High? I'm a senior myself.

Sorry about stealing the thunder from j_eps' argument.

Wow! An Asian-American majority city! That's incredibly amazing!

Is it really that amazing? I once read that there were six cities across the United States that had Asian-American majorities. Nearby Diamond Bar is roughly 42% Asian and 42% white.

If you go to Walnut High, please tell me your first name and grade level. I'm curious as to who you are. It's pretty surprising-at least 4 people from Walnut browse this forum. I'm a senior, and you may have known me as the Asian dude who used to have an afro.

Edit: For some reason, I can't PM him.

My name is George Bush. I am 62 years old. I went to Phillips Academy. Please go back on-topic.

Winner, do You have a "Moravian" minority? A lot of people in Czech RP consider themselves Moravians, not Czechs. It was especially visible in the first census.

No, it's a protest vote against the Bohemians  ;) You see, in Czech language, Bohemia = Čechy and Moravia = Morava. The name of the country in Czech is "Česko" or "Česká republika". Moravians simply feel being left out :)

In reality, Bohemians and Moravians are 98% the same people. Moravian patriotism is more a matter of tradition. Of course the foreigners don't get it so they cite the Moravians as some small ethnic minority, while in fact Moravians make up half of the country.

People refer to Western Europe all the time

Moravia should be independent from the Godless commie land of Czechs :mischief:
Are there some Moravians who claim they have a separate language?

Nah, I know it isn't so, but there are some Silesians who claim they have a separate language, so it's interesting

That sounds familiar, apparently I also speak Moldovan, perfectly! And I had no idea about it until I found out about this magnificent language. :p It was enough for me to hear it once and I could understand it 100%, I'm such a genius at that. :p The Moldovan-Romanian dictionary was also an enlightening experience - I had no idea how many words you can write twice in the same dictionary... It probably beats the world record at that.

The problem is that these fringy people attack wikipedia and inser informations about "Silesian language" there. Very annoying.

To answer the op: We don't have that many minorities, and I don't really have a view on it. I don't really base people on race or background, I base it on how they behave, so it's a hard question to answer.

For a good example, if we had alod more Islamic people here, I probably wouldn't be that bothered if they just went about their buisness and then attended a mosque or whatever and kept to themselves. But a radical islamist preaching in the street would piss me off, as would be if they met in a public place etc.

Same as I get annoyed at a radical Christian who preaches in the street, somemne who've i've sworn at a few time as I past due to his anti-gay, anti-abortion preaching etc (what I consider to be in fact hate speach, but somehow acceptavle to society because it's christian).

There are some good minority communities which I like being here and think of positively, namely those who run restuarants and take aways! I like my chinese/indian/italian/etc food!!!

We do have quite alot of Polish here whioch some people have moaned about. Personally I think they are welcome as they fill jobs such as bus driving and so forth and boost our economy, whilst never causing any trouble that I have noticed.

How can you be so cruel to people? Just because they are different...

Well you see Romanian is a nonstandard dialect of Moldovan so that's hardly surprising...
