There are only a few decisions to be made. I believe in building a mixture for flexibility. We could add 3 Markets into the mix, item B. I again recommend a Veteran Catapult to storm the walls of Trondheim and capture the Lighthouse. Penguin is a wide open situation. Also, Temples in York Downs & FA, hence another Settler in Octavia, item F, please. Please vote immediately.

Penguin Flats: Settler 32/40 in 3
York Downs: Settler 30/40 in 4, then Temple? Comments?
Octavia: Settler 26/40 in 5
Fort Anarchy: Van 42/50 in 2? Beads Cloth, then Temple
serf on Grass, Irrigation, Road, Celebrates
next serf back onto Coal Mine, Size=4
Hipsheim: Dip 27/30 in 1, Food 2/30 +1 in 28
  Give irrigation to FA
  Freeze at Size=2, Dips & Vans (R)
Routskilde: Temple 38/40 in 1, grows in 2, then Phx or ...

How about Penguin settlers to build a little penguin colony west of Elysium, before the Indians (or anyone else) find the island

I again recommend a Veteran Catapult to storm the walls of Trondheim and capture the Lighthouse.
Why not crusaders? There are 1-move terrain all the way up to the city from Hladir, whhich probably should be captured first. If we build a catapult, we'll need some protection for it too, and it will all take a long time to get the city.

I voted for catapult before I realised this, but am not in favor of it.

Funxus, that's ok. Maybe by Catapult I meant Crusader. We can be sure to poll Cat vs Crusader again next turn. The important thing is to start those 3 Markets, and use Uppsala Barracks to build attackers.

We already own 3 Crusaders, 3 of them in Viborg, but no Cats. Also one Knight, one Horse. A new DH Knight rehomed in Hips will arrive North shortly. Question: Reneaux Knight or Crusader?

Anyone besides Funxus happy to attack City Walls with Crusaders rather than Catapults? Thankfully Trondheim is on normal Plains, not a River.

Is our plan to attack Hladir this time? The last time we sent a unit north of the forest and it was destroyed. But I think the Vikings are running low on units. And we have more now. Also, do we have time to rehome the Upps Crusader in LM (now in Viborg)?

Catapults vs crusaders.
Catapults are naff. 1 move, need 2 units to stop them being destroyed (we cannot afford this), not upgraded for ages and even then cannon suffer the same unless extensive railways exist between foreign cities.
Crusaders and similar are great, two moves means they can attack from cover or from a ship, AND capture the city, all in one swift move.
Funxus calculates that they are sufficient to overcome defenders in a walled city and thats good enough for me.
I propose we do not bother building cats, but maybe bribe them for defence of captured cities, provided we can get them as nones.
