And I thank you for your continued loyalty Morinehtar. Even if we lose, you and your shepherds shall enjoy the eternal afterlife with the Eternal Blue Sky and the God Mountain.

Day 4

The tides had turned in the favor of Orda Khan today. The shepherds near the city of Mukden arose against the new-fledged Pro-Ogedei leaders set in the city, and easily retook it after Pro-Ogedei forces headed down to Hancheng. This opened up the passage between the Pro-Orda north and south. Pro-Ogedei forces continue to head down to Hancheng, but have reached a stand-off as the city is well-defended.

Pro-Orde forces continue making their way around the Pro-Ogedei west, and are currently at a stand-off with Kashgar. The city isn't defended too well, but the landscape near the city makes it dangerous and difficult to traverse. It is expected that tomorrow that the city will be taken unless Pro-Ogedei forces arrive for back-up.

Ogedei Khan Overthrown!

Forces of Orda Khan reached Qara Qorum this morning and stormed the cities. Orda Khan has had much experience taking cities by now; he took Korea himself and a Chinese city. He ordered his troops to surround the exits, and he took to the city. Alone.

As he entered the capital of the Pro-Ogedei forces, he found no troops or people to be seen. Perhaps they left or are hiding, trembling in fear? No matter. Orda Khan eventually made it to the palace where Ogedei Khan slept. As he walked inside, he found the Khan standing there alone, with a sword in his hand.

"We shall have one last duel, Orda," Ogedei stated.

"One final stand," Orda replied.

The two stared at each other, swords at the ready, for a long period of time. Eventually, Ogedei made the first move, striking forward. Orda, expecting the move, dodged and slashed around. Ogedei blocked the attack with surprisingly quick reflexes.

"I was trained by my father!" Ogedei exclaimed.

"But you are not good enough! You'll never be as great as Temujin ever was! You never were!" Orda exclaimed in response. "Mongolia will never be the same under your rule!"

And with those final words, he pushed with all of his strength invested in his body, and cut Ogedei's throat, cutting the jugular. Ogedei fell to the ground and stood on his knees; oddly serene for a dying man with blood gushing from his throat. Ogedei nodded as best as he could, took one final look at Orda, and collapsed to the ground.

Orda Khan left the building and looked from the veranda, where he saw the townspeople cheering for him and his Horde.

"The new age of Mongolia starts now! Mongolia will rise again!" Orda announced, and with these words, he claimed himself as Great Khan.

Victory! The shepherds shall sleep well tonight!

The whole thing came down to a Random Number. I wasn't expecting that to happen in a game like civilization.

OOC: YESSSSS!!!!!!

Also, I hadn't been on til now as my internet was wacky earlier.

To our new Khan I must submit, I request exile to the West where I will serve in your name and send our spoils back to be laid at your feet (plus I had a really good storyline for the red horde set out)

If you support me, I will let you have two port cities of your desire produce the boats needed for your Japanese endeavor as well as reward you with two more legions of Keshiks. In return, you must help me fight the Emperor of the Chinese, Ogodei.

I shall go forth to take Persia in the name of our new Khan.

Of course good friend.

And now after that amazing civil war... Can I join, if I can, I will be Anubis Khan, Leader of Death's Horde.
