What was the logic here?
If you ask about camp requirement @ProCatGamer suggested this:
Maybe move it to trapping as some of their geoglyph are animals (e.g. Monkey, hummingbird, llama etc.)
and I used it as an inspiration. Camp requirement fits very well the tech unlocked. If you ask about flavor, then geoglyphs were "probably" used, according to scientists as astrological markers. They were supposed to be images of constellations. Kinda big knowledge of that times. Aand we don't have such resources (monkeys etc.) in game, so I decided on camps.

All yields are local so they do not have much impact on empire, but local terrain. I could leave :c5faith: as it was, but there were voices that plains+hills bonus is really op.

attached as requested :]
On a side note, Great Zimbabwe seems out of place compared to the other authority wonders... perhaps it can give more experience based on active trade route? or boost a different unit such as range or seige as the other 2 gave unique promotions to melee and mounted units

Turn 170: Wartburg built by me (no one else went progress so there won't be any other progress wonders, also typo/merging mistake, it says completion of liberty brunch instead of progress)
Turn 174: Petra built by Greece in Pharsalos (he just entered medieval era, not sure if you can still construct it then)
Turn 175: Alahambra built by Spain in Toledo
Turn 183: Borobudur built by Carthage in Carthage
Turn 183: Itsukushima shrine built by Morroco in Marrakesh
Turn 186: Roman Forum built by Japan in Satsuma
Turn 191: Cathedral of St. Basil built by Germany in Berlin
Turn 196: Terracotta Army built by Zulu in Ondini
Turn 196: Machu Picchu built by Spain in Barcelona
Turn 204: Great Zimbabwe built by Greece in Argos
Turn 207: Qalhat built by Japan in Kyoto
Turn 207: Notre Dame built by Zulu in ulundi
Turn 216: Hagia Sofia built by Zulu in Ulundi

- some post-medieval wonder is being built alr but I'll only mention those modified by this mod
Now I can see that only cities with Mountains next to it built those wonders... I wrote on quick answers/questions thread about it but without response. Maybe if someone of you quote there my message it would bring the attention of developers :] I also wrote about model for wonders with same result.

I wanted to add another expansive wonder and great zimbabwe fits this very well, and expansion is kinda authoritarian theme. I will look at it again. I didn't touch medieval concepts during yesterday's analysis.

Do you use Wonder Planner mod? It would be nice and probably easier to do screenshot from it (2nd page) when entering Renaissance.

I really like your unique suggestion. How about:
Spoiler New Authoritarian Great Zimbabwe :
[1-AUTHORITY] Great Zimbabwe (Zimbabwe)
  • 1 :c5gold:, 1:c5culture: and 1 :c5faith:;
  • 10 :c5strength:;
  • 1 :trade: Trade Route;
  • -30% :c5gold: Plot Cost to all Cities;
  • 2 :c5goldenage: per active :trade: Trade Route;
  • 2 XP per active :trade: Trade Route to all units in Empire;

Additionally:
  • Prophet's Mosque - more :c5faith: focus, less :c5culture: and :c5greatperson:;
  • Wartburg - looked bland so added unique ability and swapped :c5culture: to :c5goldenage: and increased :c5greatperson: generation (now more focused than Prophet's Mosque), cut :c5culture: from Guild;
  • Falun Mine - cut Silver and Gold bonus (less valuable); added free GE and progress towards GG instead of bland :c5production: to local engineers; mines boosted locally;
  • Itsukushima - unique bonus to Atolls in empire
  • added new holy wonder: Meenakshi Temple (Hinduism representative) with abilities;

screenshot from it (2nd page) when entering Renaissance.
I would but it doesn't list base on era which would be better...?

But there are some wonders that were not built (most at renaissance and entering industrial)
- Angkor Wat (i think only I could build it but I was already v ahead in wonders and didn't want to have more negative modifier + it didn't appeal to me that much)
- Krak Des Chevaliers
- Golden Dragon Pagoda
- Forge of Damascus (there were only 2 authority peeps)
- Prophet Mosque
- Lavaux (No wine available in the map)
- Mont Saint Micheal
- and the other progress wonders (no one else went progress)

will it be global or only in the city where the wonder was built

also, I don't mind if this mod changes the base vp wonders abit such as the tech and such :)
Global. That's why there's only 2 XP. With 5 TR you would get 10XP on every unit in every city on construction. 3 XP would give 15 XP, which is same value as much later Brandenburg Gate which has local boost.

v0.4.5.1 on github.
  • new restrictions with lua ones (approaches, no coast, many new improvements)
  • maximum wonder era limit
  • balance up to classical era
  • now Falun Mine and Golden Dagon Pagoda do not need luxury resources; Falun Mine got Mines(4) and Golden Dagon Pagoda got Fresh Water + Jungle instead. Now only 3 policy wonders require resources (2 of them Iron, and 1 Iron or luxuries);
Tell me if something goes wrong, because I did massive lua rework (remember about lua log).

Wonder era limit - what numbers exactly? And would be good to have way to disable it, I like to be able to build many wonders, they hard enough to build, AI compets hard, having another restriction may be too much

If you start building neolithic wonder and enter classical era it will be stopped and you will get culture in return (like you would lost wonder race). Same for ancient, but in medieval etc.

Yeah, I had noto enough time to do enable/disable thing. It's still in github phase.

v0.4.6 on github. Amost finished balancing. Small checks needed (Falun Mine, Buddhas). Rest should work fine - I tried to check whole new stuff.
Also commented EraMax for @AndreyK.
If you want to play with this restriction go to "UniqueWonderRequirements.lua" and uncomment "IsMaxEra" function. That's all.

Tell me how it performs during games.
I added 30 :c5gold: on El Ghriba for :c5faith: purchase. It is pure shot. This value will change, that's sure, but I need your feedback.

For all players. Thats why I made :c5culture: culture gain if you start building wonder but era will change and you will not be able to finish it. Its 33% :c5production: of production, same as when you loose wonder race. If ai starts building it will not be in totally pointless situation.

No feedback? Then I need to check something on my own :|

As you can see, current wonder spread at the beginning of Medieval is quite nice. I'm playing without era restriction, so there are still old wonders possible.

I am playing with this great mod, started new game about week ago, with even more resources. I am playng epic large planet simulator, seems OK just got to medieval. Looking forward to renaissance, enligthenment and more new wonders
