More Wonders

I'd like to see the Berlin Wall
could give the City it is build in the attribute of being now a CS for the rest of the game with its previous owner at a high starting influence

and another wonder for future era (some kind of factory producing cyborgs/androids)
that makes the population use production and gold instead of food - removing that resource from the whole city and maybe giving some other benefits
(or using the replication technology like in star trek to give the people of the city food in exchange for gold and production)

I don't know if these ideas are helpful, I just wanted to tell and see what people think

Glad you decided to make your first post in my topic, welcome! :D

Unfortunately what you suggested for the Berlin Wall is, as far as I know, Impossible, sorry. As for Future Era, that is something I'd like to do, unfortunately the way that I do splash screens means that I'd need a suitable image base

how about a national wonder? - Struve Geodetic Arc
needs Observatory in all cities and produces culture and science

Hōryū-ji

One year ago today, at this exact point in time, a magnitude 9.0 Earthquake struck off the Eastern coast of Japan. Devastating in itself, this earthquake resulted in a powerful Tsunami in which over 20,000 people lost their lives. In commemoration of this event, we have chosen to release a Japanese wonder today. Located in the Nara Prefecture of Japan, Hōryū-ji is a large temple complex dating to 607 CE. Much of the original temple is believed to have been destroyed in a fire in 670 CE, with the current complex believed to be a restoration, which incorporates aspects of both Korean and Chinese architecture. The five-tiered pagoda is one of the oldest surviving wooden buildings on Earth, dating to the sixth century CE, and is rumoured to have bone fragments of Buddha at the base. Ingame, Hōryū-ji provides 8 :c5faith: Faith, one artist slot and becomes available with Philosophy. Hōryū-ji can be downloaded from either the Ingame ModBrowser, or via the CivFanatics Download Database, page Here

*One trip to Wikipedia later*

I would say so. I might wait until G&K comes out though so I can do a purely faith bonus (I wonder if it will be possible for +20 faith with Islam?)

Hmm...
I wouldn't want to make it exclusive to one religion.
Although I like the idea of a pure faith bonus.

I believe he wants to make it specific to a religion because he intends to make one wonder for each religion. That would make each religion inherently different from each other, since each would have a semi-exclusive wonder.

PS: and by the way Pouakai, it's hard to track you down when you change your avatar every 2 months or so:crazyeye: What new wonder is that?

La Maestranza

La Maestranza is the oldest bullring in Spain, having been completed over a hundred and thirty years ago. It is said to be the most demanding and challenging arena for matadors, as the crowd is very knowledgeable on the subject. Ingame, La Maestranza provies +6 :c5happy: Happiness, and +4 :c5culture: Culture from every source of Cattle worked by the city; it requires Archaeology. La Maestranza can be downloaded either from the Ingame ModBrowser, or via the CivFanatics Download Database, page Here. Credit goes to jpbar81 for his icon, the first of his to be used as a wonder.
