HX: Hello again. This is Hungao Xing for the TV 7 News. Our latest news in titles are:
Chaos in the UN
Interview of the Prime Minister of the Turkish Union of China:
Prime Minister of China, Mr. Su Ngan-xiang, is interviewed
HX: So, let's begin. Dowyuang Hunsin will inform us about the Chaos in the UN.
DH: Java, London and Turkestan tried to close the canals to all nations in the world. The UN decided that:
The clauses of censorship and expulsion must be invoked against the following:
-A single nation
-A group of nations with a "common purpose."
Common purpose is henceforth defined as:
-Members of an alliance
-Members of a coalition of invading nations
HX: So the chaos has ended in the UN, right?
DH: That's right.
HX: Anyway, in other news Dowyuang Hunsin went to the Turkish Union of China and interviewed it's Prime Minister. Let's see the interview:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DH: Hello, Prime Minister. I am Dowyuang Hunsin from the TV 7 Channel. My first question is, what is the policy of your nation towards the Empire of China?
PM: Now, that's a very broad question. To explain the complex relationship between the Chinese Union and the Imperials in complete detail is not something that can be sufficiently explained in a single session. There have been books written about the two states' dynamic. So, I'm afraid you'll have to break this down if you want an answer.
DH: Okay. I will change my question: First, do you view EoC as an enemy? Second, can relations between the two nations be improved?
PM: Now, that right there, "view the Empire as an enemy", is the sort of simplistic thinking that permeates the current Imperial administration. I won't use the term 'threat', but we are definitely concerned with Imperial policy both at home and abroad, for numerous reasons that should be obvious. I don't discount the possibility of improved relations at some point in the future, but the Imperial government's present attitude continues to make any attempt at a thaw more and more difficult.
DH: Why you did not support China's embargo against Somalia? Do you think that states should be allowed to fund terrorist organazations?
PM: We were not opposed the initial embargo. Our concern was with the blockade. Its original justification was Somalia's equivocal position on dealing with Mandatum, but after Somalia abandoned this stance, maintaining the blockade was seen as a purely aggressive action on the part of the Empire. Furthermore, turning Somalia into a flashpoint was guaranteed to mobilize its neighbours in preparation for possible military action. Therefore, curtailing the blockade was imperative to maintain peace and stability in the region.
DH: We all know your opinion about King George as political ruler. However, what is your opinion about King George as a Military Commander?
PM: To ascribe China's military performance directly to George is a complete fallacy. He may have been commander-in-chief de jure, but there is no evidence either that he was integral to strategic planning, or that he was ever involved in frontline combat. I mean, very few modern states expect their leaders to assume that level of responsibility, and China at that time was no exception. The only aspect of the military into which he had any direct input would have been strategic weapons, and his use of those was an utter atrocity.
DH: Do you believe that the Chinese States should unite in a EU like Union?
PM: Should they? I'm not going to pass judgment for them; that would be a complete insult to their self-determination. Certainly in our current political context, it would be the only means of reunification acceptable to established international attitudes. Our government is currently in consultation with the successor states in developing such a collective body, although at this stage the details are vague and its actualization will probably take some years yet.
DH: We have heard rumours of an Asiatic Assembly. If those are true, would EoC be accepted in that Asiatic Assembly?
PM: I cannot answer that with any definitive authority at this time. We should like to hope the Empire demonstrates itself co-operative enough to accede to such an organization in the future.
DH: My last question, what do you think of TV 7 News?
PM: I wasn't aware you broadcast outside the Empire. I'm afraid I don't have much time for television.
DH: We thank you for the interview. We hope that we shall interview you again in the future.
PM: Thank you.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HX: That was a very interesting interview.
DH: Yes. But I have also interviewed the Prime Minister of China, Mr. Su Ngan-xiang.
HX: Let's see the interview:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Prime Minister of China, Mr. Su Ngan-xiang (PM):
DH: Hello Prime Minister. I am from the TV 7 News.
PM: Hello.
DH: My first question is, how sure are you that you economic policy will succeed?
PM: It depends upon what you mean as a success. If you mean that more Industries will be created, more jobs will be created and that the Chinese people will become richer, then yes, I believe that the economic policy will succeed. If by success you mean serving the Plutocracy and making the poor poorer, as Wang Jing of the Republican Party said, then the economic policy will be a fail.
DH: Do you think that it is right that the funds of this economical project are taken from the worker's wages?
PM: Wang Jing is the one that will make the Chinese people poorer, not me. Really, the decrease in the wages is minimal. However, the boost in the Chinese economy will be huge and the jobs created many. With minimal cost, we will soon create a better China. The people may see a decrease in their income, but as I said, it is minimal. However, soon they will gain their money back and even more.
DH: What will be your Government's foreign Policy towards the Turkish Union of China?
PM: I try to improve the relations between EoC and TUoC, but, I shall not allow the Union to insult China and use propaganda against China. Other than that, I try to maintain friendly relations with the Union, mainly Economical. Although some Senators argue that we should cut economical ties with the Union, I prefer to be realistic and keep the Economical Pact.
DH: And a final question: some nations have expressed their anger that we celebrate King George's Memory, what will you reply to them?
PM: Every nation has it's national hero. Some National Heroes may seem bad in other countries, but they played an importand role in the history of a Nation. for example, Genghis Khan. Although a Great General, many people and nations argue that he was a crazy Barbarian who destroyed civilization and had genocidical policies. However, in Mongolia he is a national hero because he played an importand role in the history of the Mongolian Nation: he united Mongolia and created a huge Mongolian Empire. George may seem bad to the countries that were conquered, like India and Pakistan, but in China he is considered a National Hero because he created a huge Chinese Empire and set the bases for our Modern State.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HX: A very interested interview. So, with this, we end our News. We will see you in 6 hours again. Until then, have a good day.
