Multipolarity II - Game Thread

I'm sorry Comrades! Just between frustrations, ragequits based on frustrations, that there's been so few orders compared to last turn, and the great displeasure at the Noodle Incident in the UN, I feared this game might not have the enthusiasm or fun to match the first.

But alright then. I listen to music to make myself seem happier!

Link to video.

I'll be watching eagerly!

I've RP'd way too much for this to crash.

I've RP'ed three times. That's a lot for me. :p

Comrades, the USSR urges you to pay attention and send in your orders! You do not have much to do: merely spend your economy points and order where to expand! Even the most incompetent capitalist is capable of such menial tasks!

As for the USSR, we gladly will assist anyone who is too occupied to send in orders. Merely allow us joint-ownership of your country, and we assure you, through the magic of Communism, that your country will be GLORIOUS like never before!

So, I'm putting it to a vote: do I euthanise this?

I will do whatever the players wish of me on this subject, but I need to bring this up. I'm fearing this isn't living up to the original in epicness, but certainly is outpacing it in the feelings that are hurt.

Please don't. :(

@SonicTH: I would be willing to annoy remind the other players to send in orders, if that's less work for you.

Somebody has ragequit? Who is that person who just want to see the world burn?

Wanting to see the world burn would be a trollquit. Ragequitting is just when the game upsets you in some way so you leave it.

A player who shall not be named was getting very upset over the game's politics, so they left because they didn't think it was good for their psyche. It was making them very bitter and caustic.

I remember emotions ran very high in the first MP, and I hope to avoid such.

Hello, I'm one of the guys PF recruited.

Sultanate of Anatolia

UzDBF.png

Government: Constitutional Monarchy

Capital: Samsun

Official languages: Turkish

Major Religions: Islam

Ruling party:Royalists

Currency:Turkish Lira

History:
Spoiler :
After the destruction of the Turkish Republic due to the survivors of the Cataclysm revolting against the government the majority of the Anatolian peninsula fell into the control of many city states and warlords. For a millennium this government system continued as the threats to the city states tended to be on a local level and not warranting a pan-turkish alliance to deal with them.

The princes of many city-states often warred for control of valuable trading ports on the black sea and with their position in the middle east much trade flowed through the city states from europe to africa or asia. For the most part the city states have limited their relations with outside powers to only trade relations as other city-states would band against those who tried to bring in outside help to establish control.

Recently the power of the city-state of Samsun has been growing due to strategic diplomatic marriages and decisive victories against their enemies. Their position on the black sea has brought trade to them which allowed for the funding of their superior army.

Although never becoming noted enough to gain a representative in the UN the city-state slowly grew up it's power. In 2812 Sultan Selim X decided to strike and began a policy of rapid expansion, aggressively demanding the vassilization of many city-states or their conquest. This policy was carried by his successors and by 3010 they had all of the city-states of northern Anatolia under their rule.

In June of 3010 the constitution was signed formally recognizing the union of the many city states into the Sultanate of Anatolia. At the head of the constitutional monarchy is the Sultan of Samsun and every city state has a representative in the senate.

Darn. I have a rival.

Oh yeah, and welcome.

Welcome aboard my friend! You have 6 armies and have been given 30 territories. Feel free to expand into 6 more of your choosing.

Well I wanted to keep things interesting for myself :)
Hey PF!

Announcement to the Crusaders

We of the Sultanate of Anatolia wish only peace and cooperation with our neighbors. However; should any conspire against us we will respond to defend ourselves.

((Do I post the expansion here or PM it to you along with my orders?))

You can post your orders here, including expansion and your budget.
Some players opt for a "black budget" (they have a portion of their income invisible, and only the GM knows what that is being spent on), but the rest of their orders are public.

Others simply PM all movements/orders to Sonic.

Well i'll have to wait to see how much money I have but here is the current expansion.

The newly formed Sultanate of Anatolia has used the new pan-Turkish armies to expand into new territory. The Sultan commented that he is "Securing the safety and freedom of the Turkish people under a Turkish government that will act on the voices of it's people."

Oh, derp on my part. You have 62 gold. Average is 74, so not too far behind!

In other news. Bengal proposes enfranchisement of UN citizens.

==On Orders==

Orders can be given in thread, via PM, or both.

Orders in a PM always take priority, hence why some players use in-thread orders as decoys.

Mandatum likes the game to continued just to see where the first civil war is and whether or not it was caused by Mandatum. We are Mandatum. We are order.
