Let us be clear, we do not "Support" these "terrorists", we have solely agreed to free trade. We have offered you the exact same deal we have offered them. That's because we HAVE NO STATE. You misunderstand, we make no distinctions between states and terrorists. We make no distinction between legal murder and illegal murder. To us, both are the same.

Governments are the ultimate transgressors on property rights, thus they are evil. Their people ought to overthrow them and reclaim their private property.

However, we are not interventionists. We are non-interventionists. Our people simply want to have free trade, get fabulously wealthy, and live long, happy lives.

Your Empire's blockade would ruin our people's lives. The King would take action to ensure his people live long, happy lives, by unleashing the royal navy against any wannnabe blockaders.

We don't want to know a freaking thing about it. But like the American Empire in the last millennium, if it becomes necessary for us to ally with other states in order to check the Empire, we are not totally unwilling to do so. We wish the nations would leave us to our little corner.

Since we have no gun control laws, does the prospect of invading a country where every civilian is essentially an insurgent appealing? You would be killing far more people than any terrorist organization ever could. Is that really how you want your country to be remembered in the History books?

You will have to march through our streets knowing in all probability the next house down will be a man armed with a rocket launcher and ready to disrupt your formation.

War against an anarchistic state is a nightmare. Even when our professional troops and militias fall, long afterwards, the insurgency will continue.

You told us your coalition will far outnumber that of Iraq. The insurgency will take you five times as long, and yet you will still flee hopelessly, and the free people of Somalia shall return again.

Please leave us alone now. If we weren't trading with you or the terrorists you wouldn't be touching us, so why not trade with us too and counteract the terrorist threat? The only difference is that we will have more money, which is what we want anyways.

It should be noted that the Kingdom would not be in support of any non-African military presence in or around the Horn of Africa or East Africa.

It should also be noted that while Mandatum is certainly not a nice organization, it has yet to be proven to have the capability to do any actual terrorist activities. While there is a resolution up for vote within the UN regarding this organization’s categorization as a terrorist organization, it has not yet passed. Talk of them being a terrorist organization is premature.

Additionally there are some serious concerns that have been raised regarding the criteria for what would classify an organization as a terrorist organization in the first place. Under the current paradigm states that take a threatening posture against other states could just as easily be classified as terrorist states as Mandatum is currently being labeled.

The Swahili Kingdom urges the international community to come to consensus on what constitutes a terrorist organization before arbitrarily categorizing organizations that we dislike as one, and then proceeding to embargo – or, heaven forbid, invade - nations that may not share that same arbitrary categorization.
