Wohooo! I think USSR is a pretty cool guy. Eh bombs citizens and doesn't afraid of anything.
As long as they're 100% on CFC.After talking it over with some folks. I have decided I will probably kill MP2 to start newer, simpler projects that will hopefully be more fun and less time consuming for all involved.
Your orders were to assist the rebels if they were in danger of losing.

I've done ops and all the various orders so as to create a more or less accurate image of the next turn if we ever reached it. Minor NPC orders were not done.

I understand the KO is rather sudden, but it was necessary.
Not only was the game's complexity eating time like some Hobbit, but it just seemed like not many people (outside the DC) were having fun. Everyone had their grievances about the rulesets on balance, consistency, realism, etc. I couldn't even resolve clear lines between GM, sub-GM, suzerain, and mechanical authority.
It has been a pleasure as always to serve as the GM these last 7 turns, but I must regret that MP2 did not live up to the longevity or intensity of the original. Hopefully MP3 will be more promising, and I can use the lessons learned from this and MP1 to make it far better.
I will be starting two new IOTs later in the day that are much simpler in scope. One is going to be a direct plagiarisation of IOT IV's ruleset, and another will have few mechanics. Due to their small scale, I am going to host both.
As per IOT tradition, I will be assuming responsibility for the epilogue.
If any of you wish to provide input, please do so through any other channel than CFC PMs, as I need to clear out my inbox.![]()
