I am officially out of school. Let's see if we can get this update done by tonight.
American War (Or, Why Wars Will Be Illegal in MPIV)
With its back to the wall, New America launches dozens of missiles; many of them blow up in their silos or do not detonate, however, showing signs of a massive, daring sabotage. One Spartacus mission engages in battle over the Statue of Liberty to keep the hidden silo beneath from firing, in particular. However, six nuclear weapons remain active; while two are reserved for tactical usage, the other four fire and hit the following targets: San Francisco, the Illinois Evacuation Zone, Helsinki, and San Juan. 125,000 Leth, 130,000 Syndicalists, 50,000 Finns, and 124,000 Finns are killed.

While the Leth armies remain committed to the Syndicate cause, the Icelandics lose heart and withdraw their naval forces, eliminating the advantage at sea that the Americans had possessed.
682,000 Syndicalists march into New America. 600,000 Leth assist the assault against the Americans. 187,000 professional soldiers are backed by 1.163 million conscripts. Both sides are armed with nuclear implements; while two American bombs go off, twenty-five Syndicalist bombs go off by comparison. Without even firing shots at each other, the losses are staggering: 200,000 New Americans, 9,000 Syndicalists and 8,000 Leth.
1.149 million Americans now stand against the Syndicalist-Leth horde of 1.265 million, having lost their numerical advantage; most of the young conscripts are scared wasteless by the bombings.
60,000 Americans are killed, while 240,000 are captured and interned. 10,000 Leth and 13,000 Syndicalists are killed. Only Maine remains unoccupied; while troops are under orders to push by central command, the New American conscripts threaten to mutiny so most field commanders quietly drop the topic.
100,000 Americans are killed or displaced as a result of the occupation, but of the 3 million New Americans seized this is a paltry number.
757,000 Syndicate sailors fight 50,000 New American sailors.
The Syndicates crush the New America flotilla, placing the last New American province under blockade due to their overwhelming victory. The flow of capital is cut off enormously due to the blockade. The Syndicates kill 40,000 sailors and intern 10,000 others. A mere 1,000 Syndicalists are killed.

80,000 American troops march from the Great Plains into Chicago, backed by 20,000 paratroopers.
The Syndicates have 75,000 men present to defend the vast Chicago territory, including against the attempted airborne assault against the capital.
The Americans kill 13,000 Syndicalists, while the Syndicates kill 6,000 and imprison 24,000 more.
The Americans seize much of the northwestern Syndicates, but fall short of the jewel that is Chicagoland. With the economy teetering on the brink of collapse, without a swift victory the Americans cannot hope to hold the territory, their troops already increasing closer to mutiny as supplies dry up. The Americans set up a puppet United Syndicates of America in these territories.
4.5 million Syndicalists are placed under occupation, the brutality of the American forces ensures that 400,000 of them perish, whether from stolen food, brutality, or summary execution.
