5,000 Mainland Chinese-Japanese troops will be stationed in Hawai'i. In return, the People's Imperial Navy may gain access to some ports in the event of a war, along with Hawai'ian protection. Combined with a defensive alliance, I think this is all well, yes?
Hawai'i accepts the proposal, granting China-Japan basing rights as well as inking a defensive military alliance.
The business community especially looks forward to Chinese-Japanese troops, hoping they will be a vibrant addition to the local consumer community.

Greetings, Supreme Ruler. I take it that you are well? Well, I can't say the same for the political situation in Asia, however. This is why the Premier of Mainland China requests that she station 10,000 troops in Korea to safeguard Korean independence. Also, a guarantee of Korean independence will be sent, if that wasn't already obvious. All we ask in return is some donations to the People's Republic of Mainland China, and thus the People's Empire as well.
