Things have been rather hectic lately around here and people keep walking up to me on the street (the private street that runs through my palace courtyard of course) that they wished there was some kind of international bank of some sort.

Everytime someone came up to me and said that I would ask, "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" Eventually, it dawned on me.

I should open the Crimson Bank of Jakarta!

Now, I know what you're saying. "Duke Eko, you can't just open a bank. You need the Crimson King's permission and blah blah blah."

Well, that guy is sick, his son is, how you say, indisposed, so I had to get approval from the good ol' chancellor. Chancellor F....err, just F, said sure, go ahead.

As always it's a "soft" lock. That is, orders remain fluid until I have processed them (i.e. Kinich would be able to change his orders until I got to them), or I have released confidential information that could be used to gain an unfair advantage.

With 300,000 soldiers aboard, 225,000 sailors go ahead of the transports; if this offensive goes sour they do not want to risk losing that many troops to the Swedish prison camps.

One force heading to liberate Norway and another heading to end the Icelandic economy, they clash for domination of the Atlantic Ocean.

The battle is catastrophic for the Icelandic Navy, with most of its vessels in the area sunk. While the Icelandic forces kill 27,000 Coalition forces (17,000 Swedes, 6,000 Finns, 4,000 Syndicalists), the entire fleet is wiped out – 218,000 sailors perish in the chilly waters while 7,000 are rescued. The transport fleet is far enough behind they can manage a retreat to Iceland with their enemies in hot pursuit, but every port besides the American ports (under the auspices of the New American and Confederate navies) are now under blockade.
