Music in Civ

I have Civilization: Test of Time, and i don't know about you, but the music is the definition of crap!

First, there is this happy go lucky song which becomes excruciatingly annoying.

Then there's this screwed up song with this old african tribesman singing:"hey ya heeeey ya", with a solo by a young tribesman: "heeey ya ho yaaaa heeey yaahah yaaaaaa!!", with some rattles and drums in the background.

The rest of the songs (about 7) are practically exactly the same: low toned sounds that you can barely hear.

I mean cummon! we civers need better music to accompany us when we're trying to conquer Ulundi at 3 o'clock in the morning!!!

Well, dude, you must find something toe tapping about the music, as you seem to have committed all the lyrics to memory.

Like the man said... You can always turn the music off. If you spend more time playing the game and not worrying about the music you will be a lot happier. If you want better music turn on the radio.

Yah but i play the game for hours and hours and the song comes on like every 5 minutes and I can't help but to memorize the lyrics. Besides, its just Heeeeya and stuff. What really triggers my rage is when a lose a city or my battleship sinks, and i'm swearing at the damn Zulus, their song suddenly comes on. Heeyaaaaohayaaa. I'm like Damn you Zulus!! Damn you to hell you Damn zulus!!!!!!!

It would make very happy, when I get civIII and it would blast some great Thin Lizzy tune(or any rock band, cos U know.. its have been part of humans history for 50 years now) . I would have to maybe play Irish.....

You know what would be really cool, if they would make an add-in that would allow you to play MP3's. Then you could make your own music lists.

TF, i think we should start a search too find the complete songs to all of the Wonders in Civ2. I like King Richards Crusade, Hanging Gardens, Mikes Chapel. I like classical music
