I really like the singing - it sounds great in any era, and the industrial version is just so great. When I first heard the first listen, Georgian themes left me speechless.

Rome (Magna Mater) - 14 = (13 + 1). This one is falling into the dangerous category so I figured I'd try to save it. Whenever I hear it this theme reminds me of a Legionary going to war. They had to travel hundreds even thousands of miles at times to get to the battlefield which was probably slow and monotonous for the soldier, but to everyone else around it would have been ominous and terrifying. I think this theme captures that rather well.

This theme is... ok in Ancient, beautiful in Medieval, even more beautiful in Industrial, and them peaceful and relaxed in Atomic which is perfect for when you cruse ahead of everyone and get the science victory whilst everyone is only just able to sail ocean tiles.

If I pretend to forget that Scarborough Fair is the English song (and I didn't know the other 3 before), I could easily swap them around and not notice.

Russia (Kalinka) - 16 (15 + 1) - Upvoting Kalinka for a chance to respond to an earlier downvote saying that orchestral versions are not authentic. Actually, the composers have done a very good job with them, and they do sound like top Russian composers of the appropriate periods could have written them. The Industrial one kind of sounds more Russian to me than even the balalaika stuff. Though the song choice could be less obvious.
