I have decided to create a music quiz here to test your knowledge of music from the beginning of time (let's not debate this here) to the present.

In case you are not familiar with quiz rules, one person will ask a question and another person will answer. If they answer the question correctly, they get to ask the next question. If they answer incorrectly, you keep on going until someone gets it right.

After asking a question, you may not answer the very next question asked after yours. This is to prevent the thread from turning into a two person exchange of questions and answers.

I'll start us off.

As many of you know Kurt Cobain of Nirvana comitted suicide. He had also attempted suicide before. How had he attempted suicide before?

lol, nope.

Correct, your question

Since BillyBob has departed, anyone can ask a question...

Herbie Hancock by any chance?

Since perfection told me I was right I'll ask the next question. An easy classical music quetion - who wrote the '1812 overture'?

No, sorry.

I'm fairly certain the composer isn't French.

Multiple Choice allowed?

Bach
Mozart
Tchaikovsky

I don't know if it's allowed but since you're correct in one of them I'll accept it this time. It was Tchaikovsky.

Twas a toughy Gman...

Who was the last registered union theremin musician in the United States?

Allright it's someone else's question. I'm goin to bed.

Alright... This time a different genre. Who wrote mannish boy?
