I have never understood why people take verses out of the Koran and use that as justification to label Muslims violent and bloodthirsty. Take verses from The Bible and you get the same picture for Jews and Christians.
1 billion Muslims or so in the world and I seriously doubt that most of them endorse violence, so why the blanket judgements? That's like judging Christianity based on the folks who stir things up in Northern Ireland.
Mind you, I'm not trying to say the acts performed by those of the extremist nutjob persuasion are not terrorist acts. I'm also not saying this flare-up over the cartoons is not idiotic. I'm just saying let's show some restraint here and not paint such a wide brush and indict everyone over the acts of some. Eh?

Ok, well I think everything you said is admirable, and I understand what you mean. But now how about this though: what if the people who strap on the suicide belts, and hijack the airplanes and fly them into buildings, what if they just laugh at all of that? Reminds me of that scene from a movie where the martial arts guy does all his fancy moves for like five minutes, and then the other guy pulls out a gun and shoots him (Indiana Jones?).
