Well that's interesting but I'm not sure what exactly distinguish your criteria.

If I had to break it down it'd be like this.

The characters by personality:
1. Fluttershy
2. Twilight Sparkle (close on 2/3 here)
3. Rainbow Dash
4. Pinkie Pie
5. Rarity (close on 5/6 here)
6. Applejack

The characters by production or aesthetic details as in acting, animation, music, writing quality, etc...
1. Rarity (close on 1/2 here)
2. Pinkie Pie
3. Fluttershy (close on 3/4 here)
4. Rainbow Dash
5. Twilight Sparkle
6. Applejack

Obviously my overall list isn't a linear combination in any way, and I was feeling particularly Rarity-friendly at the moment, and maybe a little critical on Pinkie Pie. But the difference between meta-details and characterization is significant, I'm one of many people who probably doesn't really like, say, Rarity's personality or non-hat interests but think there's the sheer hilarity and awesomeness of her as a character.

And personality is, well, personality; how they behave and such.

It took a second watching for me to appreciate this one. It wasn't my favorite, but it wasn't bad either, this episode is middle of the road for me. So far, my favorite is the Cutie Mark Chronicles

Anyway, the first half of episode 25 wasn't good. I liked the second half.

I think my absolute favorite so far is impossible to tell

There's just so many good episodes... The Show Stoppers, Green Isn't Your Color, Sonic Rainboom, The Cutie Mark Chronicles, all great... and those are all the later episodes, the ones I can remember by name...

I'd have to review them all in my mind to get a better idea, really, I'm leaving out some I'm sure

I know their quite cool. The Rarity one was the only one I really liked though, (after I tweaked it a bit). I like my mostly white color scheme and the other colors were a little off putting to me.
