From Pope Clement IV:
We are unsure what would suffice and whether andything at all would appease you... for have you not been in this place for some time? Then surely you must have seen all and have all... If not maybe your 'god' isnt doing his job.

You do not need to send anything if you wish.

Altough we sugest you refrain to more diplomatic words, we are not afraid of your God, we can crush you like a bug. Respect our Empress and our God...

... or suffer the consequences.

Would you be interested in trade with the French? We are looking to buy food, and we shall be in gold and whatever we would have when a trade route starts... what you think?

From Humble New China

We will be of course not just willing, but grateful that you will allow us to show our admiration of your great empire and allow a few of us to see your grand and hallowed cities. We will set our most valuable foodstuffs that we hope will satisfy Your Majesty and make your drinking water and food much more pleasurable.

OOC: yes, i really know how to suck up...

OOC: how did china land on same side as the europeans...? weren't they on opposite ends of the world?

OOC: heh, that's what conehead and me were saying on AIM

sheesh who knows, maybe they drifted around it? come on it could happen... maybe stirred off course by a storm, just let it be as it is...

To France:
from Tlacolotl empire:

No deals or futher diplomacy until you send us a proper embassador to our nation (which is after the tribute paid, like the chinese are doing). Once our great empress has talked to your embassadors at her great capital, may deals be struck, until then, we cant answer.

We throw ourselves at your feet in pathetic admiration of your magnificant empire and hope that you would allow us to live in our hovels and select a few of our grandest men to see your gold-clad cities, but equal with the most unimportant commoner on the street. We will show you the potato, a foodstuff not found in this part of the world and all of our most valuable foodstuffs, currency and servants.

(I ummm used your template for kissing up Alex, hope it's ok. ;) If it's not I'll write one on my own from scratch.)

How can you be so cruel empress? Our people saw destruction of our homelands! Our own lands, continent was burned into ashes and drawn into the sea! We have came here looking for shelter from death! I can barley feed my population! How can you be so cruel and ask from our poor shaking kingdom to give you anything? We havn't got nothing. It is like asking your poor to pay mot taxes than the rich in your own kingdom! The only think I, Louis IV, King of the french people, can offer you is myself as an eternal slave to the empress. I cannot harm my people anymore by giving you tribute as my people will be destoried by this in a worse way than being destoried by your mighty and etternal empire. You are a cruel ruler, destory us if you must, but I cannot harm my people anymore. I offer you myself as tribute, as a slave to the empress.

Very well, we shall send nothing. At the moment all is needed to prevent the loss of more good Roman life. Maybe in time we will become friends but for now we can give you nothing.

From New Rome:
We thank you for your support. What would you say to trade routes and/or and Alliance?

stalin, i have contact with New Rome and New England?

Greetings, somewhat Nordic brothers. Trade? Alliance? Idle banter?

Wow, we truly bow in recognition of your wonderous empire. And this is coming from a race of Vikings, people who bow for noone. What would you appreciate in tribute?

The Pope was disturbed by this new 'Empire' among other things... Not only did they not follow the true God they had some mad belief that all others should bow before them... foolish savages. Romans bow to no man, or woman for that matter! Imagine that a woman as a leader! The Pope was not only troubled by that but also by the loss of numerous cattle and ack of food. He had ordered people to be hired and trained in the use of crossbows and weaponry to defend the cattle, he would also need to increase farm production.

His idea to send ships out had been succesful they had bumped quite unexpectedly into a spaniard, Columbus he called himself, who ahd already mapped the area. With these maps they made contact with numerous other 'survivors'. This would bring trade and friendship, however it had also brought problems... the Spaniards had created their own Pope as had the Greeks. He had respectfully asked for the other nations acknowledgement of him as the true Pope but held little hope. Flemminga had seen the light and Clement could only hope others would.

Pope Clement was disturbed by the lack of spine the other nations showed, surely, even though they were not True Romans, they had more courage than this? Well he would have to wait and see, things would get very interesting very soon. And hopefully not too much Roman blood would be spilt.

OOC: Dont want to send orders before i get responses for trade agreements and alliances in case i need to change them. Im not really Sexist just makes snese that the Pope is back now also note how they saeem to be regressing to the good old Roman days. The Carrion will not feast on Good Roman Flesh!
Hmm another story later maybe depending on responses.

I'm sorry to announce that our poor country has nothing to give to you at the moment. We need all gold we have to build farms so we that can feed our people, and all else we have is in short supply. So we are not going to give you anything.

We've considered our tribute your majesty upon high and we have decided that the finest gift we could offer would be specimen from our finest breed of horses, potatoes and any other grain or livestock that might not have existed upon this island before our pitiful arrival - and servants to show our servitude. Oh, if but only the glory that is the empress would accept these gifts!

A great idea northerners. You have such things as Iron and tamed Jackalopes - New England has food, timber, firestones and friendship to offer.
Trade is a most perfect idea!

to the Rest:

It is understandable if any of you are unable to send anything to show respect to our god and Empress. We believe in peace, and we will let everyone alone despite their decision to send nothing.

The rest that do send something, can send their party of seven to our costal city. From there they will be taken to the capital and back in a season's time.

@Azale, yes

Year 1520. First survivors of Takeada shogunate landed on this new land. Only few made it to the coast, most of them got killed when ships were sunk by hailstorms or serpent attacks. After two weeks almost all survivors were in one camp, and not until then they noticed that their loved king was not there. People cried openly, and rebuilding of their nation had to wait until tomorrow. Next day they started chopping down forests and built first houses into their new capitol.
Year 1521. During last year remnants of Takeada shogunate had expanded their small camp into a real city. But without leader, they didn’t know what else they should do. All food they had was fish and some deer's. They had expanded to west when they were looking for any food to eat, but all they found was grasslands where horses and cows could eat as much as they wanted. At least cattle was not starving, but people was. This all was before their king and suddenly came from the sea and landed to port of his capital. People didn’t believe their eyes, rumours spread that it was chost of their king. But when high priest recognised the king and convinced people that this really was their king, started huge celebrations.
Afterwards people heard the story of their king. King’s ship got lost during storms and was separated from main fleet. For one whole year king had searched for his people and at last he found them.
After Kings return things started to happen quickly. He announced about building projects that would bring jobs to whole population. Building of new farms and lumber mills started, and ranches were also built. Many other public buildings are to be built, and thousands were recruited to military. One day, King was supervising construction of new farms:
“Advisor, how many farms are now completed?”, King asked same as they were watching builders on the roof of one farm.
“98, my lord. Extra builders have greatly helped in building, we are about two weeks ahead of the schedule.”
“Good. And how about new logging camps, are all of them ready?”
“Almost. There is only some nit-picking to do here and there, but builders will be ready for other duties soon.”
“This is going even better than I could have imagined. Can my return really make people work so much harder?”
“Well, they were one whole year without strong leader. People starving, waiting their leader to come back and make them as wealthy as they were years ago. Now they got their leader back, and are assuming you will give them back those riches they once had.”
“Always thinking for themselves, huh? Well, aren‘t we all.... how are other projects going?”
“Well so far 134 of 170 workshops have been built, and nearly 7368 new houses are also ready. Courthouse is halfway done, and stables nearly ready....”
While advisor still speaking, messenger rode to meet the king.
“I have two messages to you, sir.”
“Go ahead soldier.” King responded
“First, I’m proud to announce, that new stables are now ready. Horses have already moved in training will start tomorrow. Secondly, wood choppers are complaining that transporting wood to construction yards is very slow without any horses to pull the carts.”
“Very well. When you return to stables, give them orders to send 50 horses to logging camps, where they will be used for transporting wood. Anything else?”
“No sir.”, messenger replied and left.
Soon after messenger had left, King and his guards took their horses and went back to the capital while advisor stayed and continued supervising the constructions.

OOC: my english needs a lot improvement. hope that everyone understands it ;)
