I´d like to join in your research program of the Aircraft Carrier. I have currently started my own research. It would be much cheaper if we built 3 Aircraftcarriers of the same model. And the research would be much quicker, too!

I agree that will be a good idea. I also propose joint work on the atom bomb and u boats.

For nations that already have aircraft carriers and u boats, then technologies can be exchanged etc, and the nations not contributing technology will bear the brunt of the cost(mainly mine I think). This means we can all build aircraft carriers and u boats much quicker.

Then with all four nations working on the atom bomb, we should be one of the first groups to get it, giving Quebec leverage in the war and preventing the other nations of North America being threatened with it.

I propose this defence, science and trade pact be called NATO, or North American Treaty Organisation.

NATO CHARTER

1) The Western States of America(WSA) will provide the plans to their tanks, and provide uranium and other raw materials from the vast American west.

2) The Virginian Empire will provide the plans for its tanks and U boats, and raw materials.

3) Alaska will provide the plans for their tanks, aircraft carriers and U boats.

4) Quebec will provide the plans for their tanks, U boats and work on aircraft carriers.

5) All nations will work together in the Nevada Desert on the Manhattan Project, the development on a nuclear weapon.

6) All nations will share the cost of the atom bomb, but WSA will shoulder 50%, the Empire will pay 25%, Quebec will pay 15% and Alaska will pay 10%.

7) All nations will compile the plans for each technology into a basic design for all, which will be built at major manufacturing sites in each nation.

8) If one nation is attacked in North America, the others will help.

I strongly support your idea of NATO. I find this proposition very generous and I will sign this deal. I suggest we create 1 aircraft carrier manufacturing site, 2 U-Boat manufacturing sites and 2 tank manufacturing sites that all nations share to keep costs down even more.

The reason I want both the aircraft carrier site and an U-Boat site is that it would be difficult to bomb or take for other nations(coldness). Quebec is in war right now so it is perhaps a bad idea to have too many important manufacturing facilitys there at this moment.

Dear my esteemed British friend,

We are merely signing a defence pact. This is good for our nations as it increases our wealth and prosperity. It is true that trade and science agreements have also been reached, but if you haven't noticed, Quebec is one of the most advanced nations on our continent, and therefore a great benefactor.

I doubt that you would want war with the entire North American continent, as our naval assets are numerical enough as allies to rival your own. Our armies outnumber yours when working together, and our air forces in conjuction with each other would vastly outstrip yours.

I suggest you leave well alone. I do not wish for war, and actually actively encourage Quebec to strive for peace, but we will not be cowed by an imperial nation half way across the world from ourselves.

I am very grateful for your support.Although we believe in a strong state which has more control about its citizens than yours,we all still feel as North Americans and despite the propaganda spread by the British the Axis are winning this war.We only had some losses in Normandy and Tripolitania,but our Greek friends are unstoppable in Hungary and Arabia.
