Lincoln looked again at the reports on his desk. He was fairly happy about the Cuban situation. only two american marines had K.I.A. and the situation was already over. There were a few terrorists hide outs, but their false reports were humerous, as did the Cuban people more then welcomed the U.S. military. Now that the military has withdrawn, all marines have been dispatched in South America. 20,000 men from Cuba, plus an additional 120,000 that landed there (combination of American, Aztec, and Iroquios troops) mounted to a 140,000 well trained N.A. miltary riflemen and machine gun personell. Then, the abandoned bases in Peru escalated it into 180,000 men assault, largest in world history. Half of the men went to march into the Roman Colnies that, under the peace proposal, rightfully belonged to aztlan. Lincoln, very stubborn, still played a defensive role. He didn't want to be the aggressor, but knew that such time probably will come. The troops, over mass numbers, quickly overthrough the Roman Agressors in four cities closest in land to Peru, though making sure not to cross into Peru territory. These cities held a huge fiest in that now they belonged to a greater and equal government, The New Aztec Democracy , set up and agreed upon by American, Iroquios and Aztec officals. Lincoln finally was happy about the situation in the south, due to that the people were finally happy.

South China was in turmoil.

The election had ended with a narrow victory for the right wing NBB party, (New Democratic Beliefs) Led by Senator Kushanis. And chaos was ensuing in South China.

The left wing buerecrats were outraged over there loss, and began bringing up claims of election rigging. They brought up as many supporters and military vessels as they could to take back the house...

... By force if necessary.

But there plan Backfired, and as many of the left wing supporters fled and defected to the NBB leaving the left's with no claim to the house, many of there supporters were arrested, and put on trials, while there leader "Xiao Pad Hakatu" fled to Northen China, under communistic ideals.

A few days later, at the national anuguration, Senator Kushanis became President Kushanis and took full control over the country.

The only thing said by the President during the anuguration was a single world, which would unify a nation

I had feared this might be the case. I will trade you all of that for one of your battleships, and for the other I will pay full cost via my platinum, gold and diamond mines. And I urge you not to start a war with America, but to accept a peace deal with them. I think a half and half split over the land you took might be a good offer. And don't try invading Cuba, it could cause some severe problems!

TO TRINITY ALLIANCE LEADERS

I am in the Toulon Pact I know, but I wish for closer ties with the Trinity Alliance. I think perhaps if German, Roman, British, Russian and Greek engineers all worked together on these "tanks" we could build it much quicker, and our nations would be closer, and less likely to go to war against each other.

Rome dispatch to the world on the war in South America

All efforts by Rome to get a fair peace treaty have fallen through because of American insecurity. The fact that they, so afraid that their ally might be weakened, have attempted force against our rightful land, leaves no excuse. 60,000 Roman troops, together with the 60,000 Greek troops landed in south America, and not Cuba out of respect for American sovreignity. With both the Mediterranean and Atlantic fleet in Brasil, adding the 12,000 Roman marines, that means the numbers in Roman-held South America amount to 232,000. With the expansion of Roman naval industry 3 Righello battleships are being built and 75 new machine guns arrived in South America with ammunition supplies for 18 months.

Over 120,000 Roman troops engaged in a sudden strike across the Aztec plain, reaching the Peruvian border and encircling the 90,000 Azto-American troops. 55 machine guns were set up in the border along with the Spartan works artillery. The remaining 80 remain along the Amazon river defense line.

There are now 112,000 Roman troops avaliable in South America to fight your remaining 90,000. That means that for every 3 soldiers you have, I have 4. I would suggest you give me my original peace borders.

With the Greek Army's 25 divisions now at full tech apart from machine guns due to the Spartan Military Works working overtime, I am confident that Greece can become a powerful ally to you. Also, the Greek Navy awaits the arrival of at least one battleship, and the Yard has begun to produce destroyers. It has also begun its first battleship, as per the plans you brought to Athens with you.

I suggest that a number be imposed for the large etc things.

How about maximums of 30 divisions(600,000 men) for a huge land army, 25 divisions(500,000 men) for a large army, 20 divisions(400,000 men) for a medium army and 15 divisions(300,000 men) for a small army? Das should be the final judge on this, I think.

As for navy, how about maximums of:
20 carriers(when they are finally made), 25 submarines(when they are discovered by that navy), 25 battleships, 100 destroyers for a huge navy

15 carriers, 20 subs, 15 battleships, 75 destroyers for a large navy

10 carriers, 15 subs, 10 battleships, 50 destroyers for a medium navy

5 carriers, 10 subs, 5 battleships, 25 destroyers for a small navy

How about that? It would stop these stupid races for hundreds of battleships, forcing older models to be destroyed to make way for newer ones, as per the real world.

ie; my Greece has a large land army and a medium navy

That means it had 25 divisions, or 500,000 men in its army, and 10 carriers, 10 battleships, 50 destroyers, 15 subs and however many transports I want(they don't need to be regulated)

I know 20 carriers for a huge navy seems a large amount, but remember the strength of the allies by the end of WW2!

Alexander worried. He didn't have a navy, having scrapped all his old ships ready for new ones. If the American war continued, he didn't have any ships to defend his men with.

He had orders sent to Spartacus ordering him to leave South America as soon as peace was achieved, and also to leave if Rome declined a fair peace offer. To Alexander that meant anything that let Rome keep more than 50% of what she had taken.

1 battleship was due to be delivered from Rome soon, and possibly one more. The Yard was working overtime on a Greek battleship, one which would mount slightly larger guns from the Spartan works than the ones being sent from Rome, and larger than the other ones that Greece would build. This was to make it the most powerful battleship in the Greek fleet, capable of standing up to any battleship in the world. Then it could be his ship, his flagship.

So within a few months, he mused, he should have about 5 destroyers and 3 battleships. Not bad.

He drew up a five year plan for the introduction of 45 more destroyers and 7 more battleships. It would stretch the Yard, and maybe he would have to open another yard near the Spartan works, but it would be worth it. The Greek Navy would be up to date, at its maximum capability, and a force to be reckoned with.

And with the machine guns that would soon be produced in Sparta, he knew that the Greeks would no longer be a country to be pushed around.

Now he had to open a new hospital, part of his new National Health Service. He was proud of it, and had invited Sanford to dine with him that night as part of the Olympics, in a bid to learn more about how the British NHS worked. He desperately didn't want this to be a failure, and so needed to see how another country ran their NHS.

He dozed off in his chair.

I propose that no major breakthroughs should be made for another few days, to let everyone equal out a bit. This includes tanks, which shouldn't be around for quite a while yet.

And what you all think of the plan I set above? About the army sizes and naval sizes for each country? This would stop things like America trying to outdo Britain with numbers, whereas Britain is a much more powerful naval nation in this time, and for a good reason, it's an island!

It also means that a small army nation can't magic up a million men to assault a nation with a large army and win.

And at Japan, what news is there of our exchange involving wine, gold, tech for wine, and I think platinum for refrigeration? We've traded aluminium and electricity already I know, but you were waiting for clearance from Britain about refrigeration. Please get back to me about this!

The Falkland Islands Military Base is now operational. Five divisions of troops will be based there, along with one battleship and two destroyers when they are finished.

Five Greek divisions make a brigade, and so one brigade will be based there, the Zeus Brigade as it is currently known. They can and will join the battle for South America if it is required. Also, the remaining two divisions of the President's Brigade are to be sent out to South America as well if hostilities don't end soon, joining up with their three sister divisions already fighting there. Those divisions are the Stealthy Foxes and the Greek Guard, joining the Hoplites, the Presidential Guard and the Greenjacket Divisions.

This serves as a warning to America, please help me end this violence now. Let Rome keep half of the territory it has taken, including a border with Peru, and I will persuade Righello to accept this deal or lose Greek backing.

I warn you, a continuation of the hostilities will mean that Greece will continue the war with 10 divisions, 2/5s of it's strength. That means 200,000 men, a formidable force. I hope that you will consider your position carefully.

As internal tax rates and other government spending has remained the same, the source of this influx of new capital is currenly unexplained.

In an unrelated story, Former Russian General Korneko has been seen in Sither African meeting with leaders of the ZUR military establishment. Korneko arrived a few days ago with anout a hundred military personal. "I am here to help the Zulu people defend themselves." Korneko said when cornered. "In order to promot stability in Africa, Zulu needs to be able to defend herself and we are here to show them how."

Currently in the lead in the Olympics is Egypt, but with the final events being held tomorrow, with swimming, javelin, triple jump, long jump, and pole vault, there are still 10 golds up for grabs! I wish your people well!

I regret that the Greek team isn't doing so well, but we are enjoying hosting the event, so it doesn't matter.

I think we should now welcome India into our Pact to increase our power, so long as India agrees to do everything possible to make peace with the Trinity Alliance. We should let them in, but we shall not go to war with the Alliance.

This is because I have done some calculations, and on land we should be able to match the Trinity Alliance, but we wouldn't be a match for the Northern Alliance. In the interests of keeping our Pact strong, we need another country's support. Thus I request that India be allowed to join, and make us the most powerful alliance when it comes to ground warfare.

This will also boost our naval power. We still will be no match for the Trinity Alliance at sea, but as I have no intention of ever going to war against them, that is unimportant. However, if the South American war drags on, we are also outdone by the Northern Alliance navies. India's navy would boost our strength at sea into second place behind the Trinity, and infront of the Northern.
