I don't think even China has that many factions.

Well, there are the radical conservatives, the Qing Loyalists, the Moderates, and the radical liberals. :p

For the record, if I don't like what I see I'm going to do an Insane_Panda

Bit of advice, talk to him before you do anything. He might be planning something, or trying to get a way to justify his actions....

To China:

We are willing to discuss peace. As a result of a peace treaty lands that are currently administered by China but do not have a Chinese majority will be the main focus of the peace treaty. Korea and Japan should, most likely, become independant. Vietnam will be incorporated into Siam. Central Asian areas under Chinese occupation will be incorporated into Dalnorossia or become independant, depending on the situation. Tibet is an interesting point, may become independant, depending on our negotiations. And of course your termination of the alliance with Persia and France.

We are VERY willing to negotiate on all of these points, so if you could contact us with your offer, we will go from there.

Scandinavia would like to say that if all countries involved are interested in peace, perhaps a total cease fire for a year may allow more time for peace discussions.

India, over a year ago, offered their sole peace offer to the FK. Since they did not respond to that in a positive fashion, we will only accept a ceasefire if all our allies do. Furthermore, we are not eager to see a ceasefire called, as that would only benefit the FK in the balance of all things.

The FK has no intentions to sign peace with any rebel movement or with the governments of certains countries. We have simply entertained the idea of peace with China, which is not equivalent to a peace with Portugal, or France, or Persia.

Portugal has no desires of peace whatsoever. Unless the current governments of the RGC are disbanded.

This is exactly the sort of move I talked about as being as out of character as possible and as annoying as possible. Sadly, it seems that when Sheep leaves we get someone else to take his place.

Nothing we haven't heard before.

Storm, you've been holding a grudge against MjM for attacking you for about 50 pages. The RGC has employed plenty of tactics just as bad, and there's nothing wrong with Portugal attacking the FK in Spain. You did annihilate their empire and annex all of their colonies, so this move does make sense, even IC.

IC:

While we appreciate the efforts of China to secure a peace with it's neighbors, we doubt that all parties (in the RGC) involved will tolerate the continued existance of Qing China as a government.

Persia, China has not the resources nor the manpower to fight a war on so many fronts. We understand your predicament, but remember, this is a predicament Persia placed itself in. I must do what is right for China, and if peace is reached as a result of it...then so be it.

From: Qing China
To: Federated Kingdoms

We are very willing to part with the territories you mention, but under a few conditions. Central Asia...fine...leave that to Dalnorossia. Siam can have Vietnam as well.

Tibet would stay part of China, though more autonomous (think same color but with an outline). Korea & Japan can have thier freedoms, but as vassal states. We would also want the island of Kyushu as a pacific base for trade.

We are also assuming this means that Manchuria would be returned to us.

The previous Emperor started a "legacy" of mindless agression that the current Emperor does not wish to continue, so let the talks continue.

To China

Tibet will become semi-independant, with the territory being administered jointly by the FK and China (like Andorra is administered by France and Spain together). Korea will remain a vassal state, while Japan will become independant, taking into account the near-genoside that took place there anything less seems questionable. Manchuria will be returned, and you can keep your naval base. The FK is also willing to provide you with other compensations if needed, and an alliance if you see fit.

The RGC employs a lot of tactics, all in character. And I do not mind the attack, which was somewhat in character although questionable. But for MjM to clain that THE ONLY condition for peace is removal of all RGC governments is equivalent to Hussein asking for the removal of Pres. Bush during the War in Iraq. I am sure that if the USA offered peace at any point in the war even a crazy man such as Hussein would take it.

Sigh, get over it Stormy. You can't have everything go exactly to your plans. Whining is much worst than someone acting OOC.

Also, maybe for every government it may've been outrageous. Ill take that. But, asking for your removal is in no way OOC.

Well, that sounds like a bloody brilliant idea, lets all go and kick the....oh yea thats right, ITS NOT JUST THE FK I GOT TO DEAL WITH!!!

I gotta cover my bases here, and if alex really wants to pull a panda...then very well, but I dont think alex wanted to see China divided into a million pieces. We made some good strategies incase it came to that, but seriously. Conehead getting into this war was a bad idea to begin with.

What kind of compensations?
