Enterprise Treaty

This treaty, as written on the HMS Enterprise, signed by King Carlos of Portugal, and King George the Fifth of the Federated Kingdoms.

Article the First

•The Kingdom of Portugal shall cease all hostilites between the Portugal and the Federated Kingdoms, the Incan Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the Sokotan Empire.
•No reperations in the form of currency will be given from Portugal to any other party.

Article the Second
•All colonies not on mainland Iberia are to be handed over to the Federated Kingdoms.
•They may do as they wish with theese colonies as pertains to other foreign powers.
•The Canary Islands will be returned to Portugal after 8 years.
•The Negunde colony and Brasilian colony will be given special attention as pertains to the Incan Empire.

Article the Third
•In light of no assitiance whatsoever from the French Empire, and on the Federated Kingdoms urging, the Kingdom of Portugal ceases all alliances in place with the Kingdom of France.
•An alliance the Federated Kingdoms will be signed in which the Federated Kingdoms will come to the aid of Portugal in time of need.

Article the Fourth
•Until a specifed time as by the Federated Kingdoms, the navy of Portugal will not exceed 10 squadrons.
•The Army of Portugal will not exceed 20 Divisions.
•Theese restrictions are released during a war in which Portugal was not the aggresor.
•Theese restrictions will hopefully be released with time aswell.

Federate diplomats traveled to Dalnorossia following the showdown in the Near Eastern Crisis. Attempts to improve relations and improve the stability of the region were met with a warm response in Dalnorossia and by the end of the year success followed success. Lord Russell himself arrived in the country for the final signing of the Khlopushensk Agreement that outlined a full alliance between the Federated Kingdoms and Dalnorossia, and expressed his hopes for a peaceful and stable Asia in the future.

The Federated Kingdoms extends, once again, an offer of alliance to Persia, the Ottoman Empire, and Hungary.

The Grand Rada of Dalnorossia Confirms this alliance in full and expresses its fond wish for future profitable peace in asia.

@The Ottomans; The Options are we believe quite clear and presented earlier, but we will summarise them again for your convience:

Currently: The Treaty of Istanbul has us retaining the small lands we have gained, and you paying us 1 million of damages for mistreatment of Cossack populations.

Further Territorial Transfers options consist of;

A) The Far Northern part of the North black sea region, allowing us direct access to the Don river and gaining some cossack lands. For 3 EPs and the cancelling of the damages from you to us. (so in effect 4 EPs)

Persia, as has been shown over the past few years, is a faithful ally of the Federated Kingdoms. However, by signing an alliance with you, we fear that we may be drawn into European politics, which we do not want to do.

Or, if a country far from us, like Peru or China, Allah forbid, declared war on the FK, we would be obligated to send troops halfway around the globe. While we would readily do so, our nation is not ready for that kind of undertaking.

So, would the FK accept a 10 year extension to our NAP, and increased trade, in lieu of a full alliance?
