So how many rebel PCs are there at the moment?

Lets see; Kal'thzar, Sheep, stalin, Grandmaster. And thats just the ones we know of! I tell you if I was a great colonial power that would be really annoying

Down with Kal'thzars/Grandmasters rebellion, I don't have anything against the man but as an subject of her majesty I despise those uppty gaelics (well the scottish not so much ;) ) if indeed he is playing them.

@Thlayli; care to extend the betting odds to cover Kal and Grandmaster rebellions, I feel like going for a triple roll over!

ooc: Disenfranchised, do you have AIM or MSN?

As soon as one established colony (of non-immigrant peoples, i.e. India, NOT america) rebels the rest tend to get the idea "HEY if they can rebel and win against previously though invincable nation so can WE!"

Basically if you look after WWII and japan pulled out of those colonies, the colonies didn't like it (mixture of promises of freedom and more confidence)

However i think its too early for the above to happen.

Which reminds me: I must remember to put in encryption into my orders. Can't stand the thought of NK getting intel on me.

GODDARN! I can't believe I didn't think of that. (Not the intel, Kal, the possibility that you were playing Gaels). DARMNIT.

I abhor the Gaels, but you MUST think these things through.

Please tell me this is the painfull point where you redo the orders, like i wanted you to feel in MSN?

Of course if i fail, I have offers of rebellion in France or China (Alex threatened me :| )

I don't know what encryption is available in 1862.

Even so, Britain in OTL (and probably the Federates here) have the world's best code-making and breaking abilities.

Ok, extending the updated odds for ALL rebellions.

Federate India's looking mighty fine today, with 2:3 odds. But the FK's probably got their eye on that one.

Federate America is a nose behind, staying at 1:2 odds.

Qing China has a hiiigh probability of having a revolt, with Koreans, Vietnamese, Japanese and probably the White Lotus (my personal guess for Sheep's rebellion) wanting to revolt, despite the fact that most normal Chinese love the Emperor, and the other fact that China has a GIGANTIC army. Despite that, 3:4 odds!

Finally, South America and French Mexico are tied, the latter dropping down to tie at 1:4 odds.

Isnt it funny how a single person has yet to discover where and who I am rebelling as unless I have told them. And then again there are numerous people who think they know and simply do not.

Well sheep of course we don't know where your rebeling unless you say - You haven't done anything that could show up in an update yet ! Shake the world good sir, and all will hear your name!

@NK: I'm suprised you didn't suspect the Gaels: I mean "general dissatisfaction" is one thing but "cultural revival"? It raised my eyebrow at least 7mm...

"Imagine, us, Gaels!" he said, laughing heartilly into his draught. "They would that we were Irishmen, but have not a piece of evidence to support their presumptions. Let us hope our own oppressors are as foolish as those who would call us Gaels!"

"That is enough, my friend. Let us not think badly of any other nation for being in ignorance as to our identities; we have worked hard toward that point, and it is well that they think us Gaels, and not what we truly are. We should be happy for it; we should perhaps call ourselves Gaels, and in doing bring confusion to those who might back our enemies, and cast suspicion towards distant quarters. If they call us Gaels, then, let us be Gaels."

"Well said, sir," added another. "But my pride does not allow me to take lightly the name of some other race. We are not Gaels; we should not call ourselves such, expedient though it is in this moment of mortal danger and terrible intrigue. Does not national pride and national virtue outweigh the safety provided by hiding amongst those poor Celtic servants of Britain? I say we move quickly, and proclaim openly to the world our true selves and our true cause! If our oppressors be inclined to machinate against us, let them come! We need hide no longer; we are men, and should sooner fight with honour than hide in cowardice."

"No, brother; we must not be hasty and foolish. We should not take the name of some other race, that is true; but we need not reveal ourselves, and expose our cause to premature failure. We should continue with our current course; we must remain nameless, faceless, shapeless until the time for action has come. What say you, countrymen?"

And there was general agreement. They would not reveal themselves; they would remain without names, without faces, without embodiments in the physical world... until the time had come to rise up against those who oppressed their nation. Until the time had come for victory.

OOC: Sheep is able to play a Chinese nation as well as xen plays a Japanese one :p

Japan is going to get independence, Korea has been almost completely assimilated and Vietnam will bear the brunt of the Chinese Army. The odds are more like 1:1 since they can ask for help from Siam, Turkmen, or Dalnorrosa (sp)

EDIT: Thlayli, do you have aim?

Isn't it funny how no one cares:king:

Sadly Alex, I will not have AIM until February.

*secret*
However, I can PM you something that will interest you. It should make things pretty clear. It covers our side of the field, so to speak, and you can work around it.

I haven't got word on what we'll do after, but our mutual friend is working on it.
