As a different note: Jihad was never practiced in Persia or Iran, it has a different meaning there, namely a personal, internal struggle to make oneself better. I hate it when Islam is portrayed as a horrible militarist religion where one word of Jihad is enough to get everyone to burn everything western around. This is exactly how muslim stereotypes start and get rooted. Sorry for the rant.
