The French Republic
Another year. Another year of blood and war. The deal signed with the dying Provincial France was canceled by them in the worse way. They attacked the Republic with all their forces breaking the Republican control over southern France. Luckily they also lost Toulouse not too much later as the Federated Kingdoms attacked them. They may have now became the most powerful faction in the civil war, but this “powerful” faction have surrendered their men and lands to the destructive Nationalists. Those being led by McMahon the mad despot who now rules southern France and wish to take France by force only to bring it into a worse situation with the FK as they will most likely not be so nice to France a second time... Guillaume was getting rather annoyed at that mad French who looked to destroy the country even more.
On a more diplomatic note the Persians seemed keen on joining the Nationalists. Now that Italy have gave up rights on Sicily to the Persians, those Asians will have a hold in Europe from which they will begin bringing troops to fight the French in their fight for freedom, and most likely will also aid the breaking HRE. If that was not bad enough in Switzerland the now despot ruler canceled any signs of that ones Swiss Republic. He have even went as far as canceling their confederacy and bringing forth a full despotic rule of himself upon them. They also went as far as supporting the Nationalists, but soon took back that deceleration, still thought Republicans remain unsure as if to trust that growing enemy of freedom and democracy. What could a republic do in front of a kingdom who declares Democracy their enemy? And being allied to Italy which have just pretty much sided with the Persians.. things looked bad on the diplomatic side of the war, but there may be some changes in the Balkans with the rise of several free states in there, republics and democracies. Only time will tell how will that help The French Republic.
Now the Republican armies needed to put forward one last push into southern France and win this front of the war so finally France could begin it's rebuilding of the country industries, trade and world relations. With the FK on our side we won't need to fear much. Soon The Republic rise will end the France will be reunited under the Republic.

To: Autonomy-craving groups in OTL Venezuela

We are willing to grant you more autonomy. We propose the creation of a provincial parliament. The members of this will be elected for 5 years and will choose a provincial governor from amongst their number. This parliament will also choose one representative to serve in Cuzco as my advisor.
The parliament will have almost complete control over the province, including the right to collect taxes. The province is still Peruvian though, so it may not conduct any foreign diplomacy. Also, it will not be allowed to maintain a force of regular troops. The Peruvian army will be protecting it. It will be allowed to raise a militia though. Finally, the province must still pay some taxes to Cuzco in return for protection, for the common good of all and for us maintaining the roads (meaning the trade center income would still be available to Peru).
If you agree to this we will prepare this and hold the first elections next year.
OOC: I will make a map of the provinces soon so it'll be easier to deal with this. Do note that the various provinces already have a governor. This is just more autonomy to this area.
