Even if you don't believe Persia or the BP could aid Romania (which we can), it makes absolutely no sense IC for them to refuse a peace offer, and then turn around and accept one. When Romania agreed to the Treaty of Athens, it was decided that the BP would make wars and sign treaties as one unified body.

As a result, we've offered you one peace for the entire Pact. And frankly, Poland can't afford another front, either.

*cough* Bulgaria *cough*. If it's not int he nation's best interest to stay in the pact, why would they continue to stay? Romania refused peace because at the time i had 3 fronts including them, they just gained a bit of land and thought they could get more. This time around, one of my front is gone, Muscovy is gonna go down, and their previous advantages are eliminated. You dont' make the same decision under different circumstances.

Yes we can. And it's not "another" front. This front already exists. And also, By peacing with Romania alone, i effectively clsoe the front with you since you can't access my lands now :p

Gah! There were rioting Romanians in Poland, and need I mention that Ion Kantemir hates Poland's guts. The Bulgarians are a different story, they didn't really like the pact to begin with. ;)

If Romania were to withdraw from the Balkan Pact, Turkey, Croatia, Persia, and Greece would have to discuss the possibility of invasion. But that would never happen, because I firmly believe in the Romanians loyalty.

If Warman doesn't post by tomorrow, I request NPCing, please.

Poor Romania, trapped between a rock (Poland and FK) and a hard place (rest of Balkan Pact). I wonder which is harder though :mischief:

I think Romania is the last of everyone's worries.

No. I'm definitely going with San Marino for that one. Even when it became a fad to diplomaticize with microstates, they were never mentioned!

OOC:

das. The current heir to the French throne, the living one that is...what is his name?

Julien, duh. Named after Ferdinand-Philippe's Vietnamese advisor. ;)

Out of curiosity why do you update on Wednesday as a pose to the weekend in which the majority of mods update?

Also I'm proably taking Japan after Muscovy dies.

So I command no one to take it.

Bulgaria needs a strong Monarch to unite us, and we would like to have one from one of the Royal families of Europe. (OOC: This is kind of like the choosing of the King of Hungary that Grandmaster had)
Kaiser offers his nephew on the throne of bulgaria.

Alexius offers himself.

Edward VII, brother of George V of the FK would take the throne and guarantee good relations between Bulgaria and the FK.

I think he is either dead or imprissoned by the FK. Not too good a choice.
