NES2 VI - Last Semblance of Order.

TO: His Royal Majesty, King Sancho X of Euskardi
FROM: His Royal Highness, Julien-François I, King of France and the Confederation of the Rhine

We believe that the time for the people of Euskardi to take upon themselves the responsibility of soveriegn nationhood has come, and we are willing to release the Kingdom of Euskardi from its place under the Kingdom of France if it agrees to continue relations through a full alliance, aswell as a free-trade agreement. We believe that joint cooperation is the only way towards relations which are beneficial to both of our nations.

TO: His Royal Majesty, King George II of England
FROM: His Royal Highness, Julien-François I, King of France and the Confederation of the Rhine

The Kingdom of England, through the past years, has proven itself a power to be reckoned with. We believe, therefore, that now has come the time for the government and the people of England to assume the responsibilities of soveriegn nationhood, and therefore propose to remove all restrictions which were previously placed on your government concerning the affairs of your nation. However, we believe that relations between our two states should continue, and ask that the Kingdom of England accepts a full alliance and a free-trade agreement with the Kingdom of France.

TO: The Current Leadership of the Qing Government
FROM: His Royal Highness, Julien-François I, King of France and the Confederation of the Rhine

France refuses your terms. We remain firm in our support of our Japanese allies, and call for a complete withdrawl of Qing forces from Sakhalin, and Korea. Furthermore, we demand the abdication of the Qing Monarchy, now leaderless, due to the illegitimacy of its rule over the people of China.

From King George II of England
To Kingdom of France

We accept your offer of a full alliance and free-trade agreement. We thank you for releasing your restrictions over our government as well.

Wow
seems France is becoming pretty cheritable to its satellites. Removing the restraint collar. Except China who is basically screwed.

DAMN YOU PANDA!!!!!!!!!! Don't roll over, you're a freaking POWER!

Oh well, time to roll out the propaganda machine:sad:

TO: His Royal Majesty, The King of Siam
FROM: His Royal Highness, Julien-François I, King of France and the Confederation of the Rhine

Your treachery is most alarming. We advise you to leave Siam as soon as you can, lest our forces find you cowering within that palace of yours. Let us hope you are not as stupid as Qianglong.

I think I am much more knowledgeable (and capable) in these matters than you are.
Well, duh. Its just that your capulations are ruining my schemes. Be greedy, damnit

To Byzantium:
From Germany:
The ransacking of the city of Split clearly after signing of our peace treaty is a violation. We demand compensation !

OOC: You're just a fifth-grader beating up on the kindergarteners who are having a little thumbwar. For Pete's sake, knock it off. Let them have their war. Don't widen the conflict. I really don't want a war.

Actually, it's more like seeing another kindergartener beating up my little brother, and coming to his aid. But please, no more schoolground metaphors.

Or I'll call the teacher! ;)

What happened at the world fair there is like no mention of it at all. Did it just not carry through or not enough nations sent delgates, because I did

It was held. It was just more quiet than the one in Paris, possibly partly because no one was allowed into the area of the fair carrying gunpowder weapons or partly because I had 2 divisions stationed in Copenhagen to keep the peace. I had a feeling that some nations would try to remove remove certain other delegates in a less than nice fashion ;)

To Portugal
CC: The internal community

We request your immediate withdrawel from Chile, lands with no ethnic or historical link to your own. We now intend to temporally extend our protection over the the region as par the populences request.
We also would like to suggest you reconsider your campaign aginst the Platines - they are no threat to you and annexing their lands would be a excersise in pain for all concerned.

From: Portugal
To: EUA

The Platine War will be completed. However the future status of Argentine is still open to (portugese)debate.

Chile will not be incooperated into Portugal. We never had such an intention. After the Platine War is over, Chile will be given independence. We would also prefer if both of us just left them alone. Alliances and diplomatic agreements ar fine, but thats it.

Further talks should be conducted over aim.

Withdraw from Sennar. Your squabbling will never end until your differences are solved. So I, Sultan Suleiman III of the Ottoman Empire, propose this treaty.

Treaty of Sennar

Article One

Abyssinia withdraws from Sennar immediately, under threat of Ottoman involvement on the side of its ally, Sennar.

Article Two

Christians living in Sennar, should they wish to leave, will be allowed to leave for Abyssinia or another nation of their choice. Sennar shall aid them to the borders, and those leaving the country will have to utilize their own resources to travel from there on.

Christian and Pro-Abyssinian Sennarese who remain will treat the Sennarese government with the respect a government deserves and will not rebel against it, on threat of deportation.

Article Three

Sennar and Abyssinia will sign a 5-year Pact of Non-Aggression, to be updated at the aforementioned nations' discretion.

*****

This treaty may be negotiated by the nations of Sennar and Abyssinia, and supervised by the Ottoman Empire and Portugal, should it wish to involve itself in this affair.

From: Portugal
To: Ottoman Empire, Sennar, Abyssinia

Sultan Suleiman III is a wise and respectable ruler.

We support your effort to end this war and we suport the treaty. However the first article should rewritten, to display it in a more positive way. (-threat of foreign interference).

We urge both war partys to think about this treaty, before more blood is split.

To France
From Mughal Empire

The Mughal Empire wishes to enquire as to wether France would be willing to sell any of the land it holds on the Indian sub-continent? Spcifically we have the land north of the Godaveri River in mind.

OOC: Thlayli will hate me, but Symphony, you seem to forgetting a certain little island. ;)

Enemy. We're not exactly using western logic here.

So if somebody attacks Japan, you will attack him too? :p

my northern expansion perhaps?

Argh. Missed it altogether... ah well, its nothing too important, wandering polar bears ambushed the settlers and stole their food, plus there was some bad weather. Oh, and I'll give you some border territories if I don't forget.

Also hats off to tossi for not taking any losses in the Platine War

That's the second time I forget to add casualties for one of the sides involved... The Portuguese lost 3 divisions.

The Brave and Courageous Qianlong Emperor led soldiers on the front lines

Actually he just woke up the other day to the sounds of cannon fire and didn't really have to lead anybody anywhere - the frontlines kinda came to him themselves. ;)

I forsee a Sennar-Swedish-Andorran invasion of Portugal being heroically turned back by Platines and Piedmontese.

That is absurd - there are no Piedmontese. ;)

Damn Qing....RAR!

You really should've invested in logistics that turn...

IC:

From: Kingdom of Euskardi
To: Kingdom of France

We accept this with gratitude.

Thats okay, but I hope I get a better expansion next year ;).

TO: Germany
FROM: Byzantium

Since the treaty was signed on the 14th of February, and the orders to pillage Split were given before then, we were technically ransacking our own city. It is clearly not a violation of the exact terms of the treaty anyway: wherein is there an article saying that you must get all of the economic centers in the territory you grabbed?

OOC: It was obvious that you just took that territory for a minimum of two reasons, one of which was taking Spalatum. Since we didn't get recompense for you inciting the Turkish attack on Constantinople...tit-for-tat, pal.
