Regeneration In Process
I certainly don't recall killing them off in such large numbers, so I probably just forgot to add them in the first place.

We would be very interested in participating in such research provided it will benefit the entire world. We will also provide buildings in Copenhagen for such research. We believe it would be more beneficial to have several teams of scientists working on it in seperate places and then meet perhaps 3 times a year to discuss their progress and inspire each other. This way we won't have one group focusing on just one or two ideas, but several groups focusing on several different ideas and still sharing their progress.
We could set it up in Lisbon, Vienna and Copenhagen.

This is a most noble endevour you have embarked on, and we salute your desire to better all humanity. We will send what aid and study we can, but our most valueble contribution will be the providing of samples taken from many geographic areas, as well as what we can uncover of the most terrible plagues that date from the arrival of the europeans in the Americas.
With the fall of the old Kingdom and the arising of the new maybe better relationships can be attained.
First, Freedom Religion in both countries.
Sennar become a Republic, with their own written up constitution. Rajab I will be the first President as I see that you wish him to lead.
Current Borders.
3 year Nap with open trade and free passage of Abyssanians down the Nile as well as acess to Alexandria. This NAP will apply to both the Ottomans and Sennar.
For now I hope this will do. Perhaps in the future we can further our efforts for a better relation.

If we can see that this disease is the same around the world, then perhaps a cure, or preventive antidote (vaccine, altough that words root come s from the actual small pox vaccine).
If indeed we are to develop our goal, then it will be for us to go ahead and try to completely eradicate the disease world wide.

In light of the Imperial Republic of China's declaration of its intended claims we have modified our claim to form the shortest possible border with both the IRL and the undefined area out of security reasons, and so put forth the following situational map as to the current stats of claims in East Asia:

The resulting unclaimed region is a potential source of future instability and its status will hopefully be cleared up shortly.

ALthough technically the actual smallpox cure should be refered to as an equinnation for "from the horse" rather than "from the cow" as Jenners test case was (the actual cure used globally was horse derived).
btw even if a cure is developed the production base necessary to eliminate the disease globaly will take decades to produce, and its not really a problem you can just throw money at either...
