For the record, i also like player names instead of made-up ones.
I saw Tux' post as well.
I don't know about SE. Kinda fearing the bear. But we can try, I guess.![]()
Yay! I'm an abomination!
What I have to do now is try to approach the humans and show them I am good, and willing to help them.
You are aware that you will go into a frenzy when you see humans and try to kill us right?

Does it take an action to build string or linen or is it free from just gathering grass and stuff?
Day 6
Merciary, Lord Herobrine and Milarqui
![]()
Concerned for Merciary's safety, Herobrine builds a fine shield made from sticks covered with boar hide. Merciary meanwhile builds a gardening hoe, and the pair of you start to experiment with growing things. Later in the day, Herobrine finishes construction of a wooden dwelling, while Merciary goes fishing in the lake to the north, and strikes lucky - spearing a very large fish indeed. All the while, a bloody, wound-crazed Dire Boar lurks in the undergrowth, but seems reluctant to approach with both of you nearby. At night, you have too much food to eat; leaving the fish meat for later, you use up yesterday's boar meat and apples. The local wolf pack returns this night, and Merciary feeds them some scraps, earning their affection. But just as bonds are being forged, the wolves scatter suddenly. A sense of unease descends, and you both hear sounds in the near distance, strange and disturbing. You settle down in your new dwelling; with a fire going and deer skin shutting out the night, quiet descends, and your romance blossoms...
Merciary awakes today with 5AP. The garden plots need to be tended for 1AP each, at least one more time before they can be harvested (lacking the instinct for Herbal Lore, you can only guess at how to grow anything). Something is very different about Herobrine, who has 4AP today and is ravenously hungry, as well as feeling especially cold outside the shelter of the hut. Together you have spare food: 2x Fish Meat (moderately filling), 2x Bones, 1x Fish Skin (weak but waterproof), 1x Backpack (Merc), 1x Stone Tools (Hero), 2x Stone Spears (1 each), 1x Stone Axe (Merc), 1x Fishbone Ornament (Merc), 1x Boarskin Shield (Merc).
...
Meanwhile, a lost spirit attempts to possess the body of a large, feisty female Auroch, a giant cow. But strange energies are rippling unseen across the landscape, and some kind of confluence occurs; the lost spirit fuses with the Auroch, but in doing so opens a gateway between realms. A new, unstable form takes shape. Milarqui is barely in control of this new form. As night falls, he roams the land with a desire to seek out human beings. On the way he encounters a certain Dire Boar; memories are triggered and unstoppable rage takes hold. The prey is chased throughout the night, halted only by the burning light of dawn which forces a withdrawal to shade and shelter.
Milarqi has become an abomination.

Q: would you prefer custom character names in the game, rather than forum usernames?
Q: do you have a name for your part of the world?
(EDIT: If it requires two AP too build the bone necklace and totem, do that instead of meditating.)
I would be willing to use custom names though. To Herobrine:
I'm thinking of getting a stone wall up soon with all the nastiness off to the East, we might want to invest in some ranged weapons sometime soon as well.

For the record, i also like player names instead of made-up ones.

Can a cairn be upgraded to a stone monument (once we get stone tools?)?
I kinda like the idea of a more advanced tier of monuments, built in stages requiring 2AP and two pre-cut Stone Blocks each time.I seem to have a knack for causing mayhem.
So far... you speared a giant seal but it didn't die, you retreated to the plains where you then got stalked by lions, you ran to the shelter of trees, took some mushrooms that made you ill, were helped back to health by some friendly giant orangutans, who led you to the border of Pandaholme where you started a forest fire.Thinking that's my wisest course of action. If there's any problem with my orders let me know.
@Daft: keeping fire alight won't cost any AP right?
how hot are the lakes?
@Daft: My order to let him eat me did nothing?

Hey Daft, I'm not sure how up to date your waiting list in the OP is as quite a lot of people ahead of me now seem to have spawned, but I will happily take over the next child to be born in-game so long as no one ahead of me in the list claims it.
Really looking forward to being a part of this.
You are aware that you will go into a frenzy when you see humans and try to kill us right?

Does it take an action to build string or linen or is it free from just gathering grass and stuff?
A question Daft, are you going to adjust the natural lifespan since we won't have anymore mana spawns? I noticed this when I realized I'm probably going to die of "old age" in about a turn or so but I don't think we can keep up a stable population even if there are no violent deaths. It looks like it takes too long to get to a meet another person and be at point to support children takes too long to have the two kids needed to maintain a constant population.
but you can see how others could be born into shelter, food supplies and tools ready made. They don't have to do everything from scratch, so perhaps it will be easier for them to go exploring and adventuring.Anyway, someone born into the game is going to have 2 turns of playable childhood before that. TerrisH does not have a great startbut you can see how others could be born into shelter, food supplies and tools ready made. They don't have to do everything from scratch, so perhaps it will be easier for them to go exploring and adventuring.
) is not in a very good shape. Most are hungry, even starving, and Tux has only had 1AP for a couple turns now. Honestly, I was slightly surprised Tux even survived through the day because of the lack of sleep and food.
