NESCraft

That's an interesting point @NK. I'm not going to force people to play as people/newborns they don't like... So I guess its up to you to decide how patient you will be to wait for an opening in that area? Maybe I could do some kind of 'lucky dip' for people who request it. Hmm...

Hey Daft, I was wondering, are there natural wonders in this world? By that I mean are there any amazing features or landmarks in the undiscovered wilderness? A simple yes or no will suffice. :)

@Lord_Herobrine sorry I meant to reply - yes, there have been some interesting things on the map since the beginning, as yet unexplored :) I would count Thlayli's mountain range and Qoou's hydrothermal lakes as among the most interesting bits of terrain on the continent. But there is much more out there ^^

Seon Pandaholme orders

2 AP is to be spent on studying and taming the huge beast. Let's see what it eats, what gender it is, whether it could be used for something labor intensive, etc etc.

1 AP use a stone tool from the inventory to gather some grass.

1 AP rest.

Just a heads up that I will not be finishing the update today as planned... Realistically, it will be mid-week now. Apologies for that!

But I do have orders for the vast majority of players, thanks again :salute:

PM's sent to various players with crisis/encounter events :)

Hows it coming, Daft?

Sorry!! Been busy and distracted... And to be honest I may have burned out a little on the updating recently.

Its looking like I will be done by Sunday.

Take your time Daft, Im sure I am not alone in saying take some to relax. :) As long as it doesnt take another couple of months, relax a bit.

Since this has been bumped... :p

*Insert cliché apology about Real-Life intrusions*

The update rises.

Guys, I'm sorry it seems I've missed the boat for updating, for a while. I spent a fair few hours on NES Minecraft server recently (sorry!). Halloween was also pretty crazy (three nights out - much needed after hardly socialising for a while) and I was at a networking social thing for young professionals last night. I'm now expecting another job interview next Friday - its more of a showcase of what I can do with JavaScript / HTML5 / CSS3 coding. The company has already seen my older work, so I really need to come up with something new and good over the next few days.

On top of that, I need to catch up on commitments to two freelance clients - starting some pretty complex 3D animation for one, and game sprite sheets / backgrounds for the other. While keeping up with gym sessions and etc.

To be honest, the update is barely half done at this point, and I will be doing basically nothing over the next week and a bit. Just to let you know its not pure laziness, and that I will do my best to avoid another massive hiatus... One or two updates a month is achievable. If I get this job I may end up having more 'free' time actually.

Ummm.... no....

@Immac, if only this NES could pay my rent ;)

So what you're saying is you need a wealthy benefactor that can fund your leisure activities. Someone get on that.

thats not an excuse. get back to work (cracks the whip)

Just kidding of course.
Good luck with the new job by the way (i'm assuming you get it).

Maybe we could start a fundraiser for Daft. :p
