Justo's Orders

2 AP to be used for building some animal traps.

2 AP to be used for exploring (utilizing the explorer trait) North West along the river, West and returning back home. While exploring the animal traps will be set (utilizing my ranger trait to hopefully determine the best locations) with the goal being to attempt capture of small animals (chickens, rabbits etc). While exploring and setting the traps any available fruits (apple trees are West of Wolfhaven), nuts etc will be collected. If room is available the spear will also be taken in case any threats or hunting targets are found on the path. (I also have a backpack for additional storage capacity)

1 AP for resting back at Wolfhaven.

Food: Hopefully fruit or nuts are found during the expedition. If not if food is available at Wolfhaven this can be consumed. Any food found during the expedition can be added to Wolfhavens stores.

Traps: I'm not sure how many traps 2 AP can create but hopefully it will be 2-4 and hopefully these can be checked while heading home. If anything is caught the trap/s will be reset so they can be checked again tomorrow.

Orders:

Dip my fingers in the bowl-Rock, and use its water to rinse my hands and my eyes. Empty what is left in the bowl-Rock over the cairn, and take it with me to the shore. Wash my face and hair thoroughly with Holy water, and refill the bowl-Rock and set it back in its place. Sprinkle a bit of fresh water onto the Cairn.

Hopefully there's a couple of berries left over that I can gently present to the bunny as a treat. If not, dip some grass into the Lake and make do with that.

1 AP - Meditate on the nature of the World, on the role that Plants, Animals, and other Things have within it, and on the significance of the Lake I came into Being so near to. Allow my thoughts to wander onto the strange creatures to the east, and beckon to them, and to the bunny as well, from within my reverie.

1 AP - With a sense of new purpose, craft a set of Stone Tools using some of the rocks right next to me, by the ridge.

When the strange creatures arrive, pause my work. Take up the bowl-Rock, and present it to them.
Whatever they may do:
- If they use up none of the water, anoint them with a sprinkling of water each, then set the bowl-Rock back into its place.
- If they use up some of the water, but leave some behind, anoint them with a sprinkling of water each, pour out what is left onto the Cairn, refill the bowl-Rock and set it back into its place.
- If they use up all of the water, refill the bowl-Rock, anoint them with a sprinkling of water each, then set the bowl-Rock back into its place.

Convey to them that I want them to stick around the area until evening, then resume my work.

When the Stone Tools are finished, dip them each into the Lake before I use them.

1 AP - Cut off a small lock of my hair, take the pebble that accompanied me when I was foraging yesterday, (and likely a small stick or two as well, to have more materials to work with,) and craft a small Ornament.

Wait for the strange creatures to return from whatever it is they decided to spend their day doing, present the Ornament to them, then braid it into my hair.

If somehow, by the creatures' generosity or by some whim of nature, I end up having food, eat it. Otherwise, go straight to:

1 AP - Sleep.

Thomas.berubeg:

1 AP Towards Communing with local spirits, asking for protection for the tribe, luck in the hunt for the tribe, and for spirits to encourage the predators to leave the area (Crocodiles move down stream.) Offer the spirits the yellow feathers and bones as gifts to build their rapport with us. Inscribe the walls of the enclosure with the images of the dancing spirits. Try to communicate with the Sparks in the distance, leading them towards us. Narrate what I'm doing to the baby, explaining the stories of our people, and how to communicate with the spirits.

1 AP to Use hoe to create a garden patch within the protective enclave of the walls.

1 AP to eat food/Take care of the baby/make sure the baby doesn't wander off or get eaten.

1AP: Collect some stones from the west and sticks and make a spear.
1AP: Pray/Martial practice with spear. Practicing energy strikes with spear.
1AP: Hunt. Don't risk life unnecessarily, but hunt.

1 AP: Collect some of the stones from next to the cave and sticks if I can without going near a predator to make a spear / If not possible to to get the sticks without going near a predator, then I'll pray to my Amber stone while holding it up to the suns.
1 AP: If I was able to make the spear then I pray the Amber/ If I couldn't make the spear and prayed to the amber then I'll go hunting the rabbits on the hill with my axe.
1 AP: If there are anymore available sticks I'll use them and stones around my cave to make a fire for comfort inside the cave./ If there weren't enough sticks even for the spear then I'll try to gather some grass to make a blanket.

Oh yeah, Daft, I just noticed that in the Highlands paragraphs, you kept mentioning lopaz as Justo.

Hey I meant to say, I am sorry for referring to Lopaz as Justo this update - similar names right? One letter is the same? This has since been fixed :)

Thankyou all for the orders so far. I'd like to propose an orders deadline of Wednesday night this week. Is that acceptable? Since I already have quite a few orders, I can start work already and aim to update that weekend, IE a week from now.

Also apologies Omega124 is still missing his PM, will be sent ASAP!

Wednesday sounds great to me, Daft. Oh and I forgot to say, great update. :)

Lord of Elves' Glorious Orders for Great Justice
1AP - Use linen, lizard skin and string to create a Ceremonial Battle Raiment+Robe!(TM) for myself and begin referring to myself as the Pandaholme Broodmatron
1AP - Tend the garden
1AP - Be pregnant and rest
1AP - Help take care of other peoples' children

I guess for now my orders are "being a baby somewhat innocent and harmless"
Looking forward to become a child and annoy help my parents. :D

North King:

- Wake up.
- I feel like I'm forgetting something...
- Well, at least I've marked the northern edge of the territory!
- Hmm, perhaps we should see what's happened in the aftermath of the forest fire? (1 AP to cautiously explore the burn area. See if anything is salvageable - animal bones, charcoal, etc. Perhaps find a tree that is clearly burned to death but seems stable enough that it will remain standing for a long time, and mark it to mark our territory.)
- Seriously, am I forgetting something?
- Return to Pandaholme. Greet everyone.
- See daughter.
- Oh! That's what I'm forgetting!
- Sing lullaby to young child. (1 AP to this; create a long-lasting SONG OF OUR PEOPLE.)
- Sorry guys! Kinda got distracted!
- Help out in Pandaholme. (1 AP to help harvest/plant the gardens.)
- Take care of the presumably recovering Seon (if she needs it). (1 AP to ensure the mother of the child is a-okay. This AP can be devoted to anything that reasonably falls in this category -- defense against giant cats, securing food, waiting on hand and foot, etc.)
- Sleep.

So, Orders deadline = Wednesday??

My orders are to try to run into the woods. Or crawl. Or weakly gesture towards.

Bad, baby Terrance, bad! No biscuit!

:D

@Daft: what can I do with horns?

@J.K., they could be used as a weapon as-is, or crafted into a long spear, or tools, or decoration/religious item. Possibly more uses if you can think of one:

Wikipedia said:
Both males and females possess permanent horns. The horns are narrow, and straight except in the scimitar oryx, where they curve backwards like a scimitar. The horns are lethal — the oryx has been known to kill lions with them, and oryxes are thus sometimes called the sabre antelope (not to be confused with the sable antelope). The horns also make the animals a prized game trophy, which has led to the near-extinction of the two northern species.
