NESLife attempt #3

We'd love this NES regardless of how you draw things Daft! Don't be so worried that we're judging you negatively, because WE AREN'T!

Lol, indeed none of us ever said anything negative about this thread except your doing a too good of a job...

Take your time. And if you must kill this NES, please start thinking of ideas of how the next LifeNES won't die. I love LifeNES. It's probably the largest thing still holding me to NESing...

Primary reason I still come to the forum at all. If not for this game, I would have lost interest in everything else and moved on.

Hey, thanks very much for your support! :D

I will keep this going, but im just not sure about how to update it. I feel like there's either been too much or too little info in the updates so far. Anyone have any suggestions about that?

Do as much or as little as you feel like doing that particular update. As long as we know which creatures are alive and which are extinct (via the species log .doc/.txt file), I suspect 95%+ of us will appreciate what you are willing to put down.

Yeah, if you don't have a lot of time atm then don't feel like you have to make it rly detailed. This i my first nes too remember :p

Don't even write anything at all. Only about the most successful first species. We can use the new survival chart thing you made to know whats happening.

Or/and don't color the animals. I don't mind...

What erez said about update length. Though just having a two or one-tone animal is much better than a black and white.

We can fill it in with stories!

@NK- You know, that's the exact same thing Cuivienen said to me.

I remember. A shame she's gone. :(

If you could put the status right in the stats for each species, like just a line under description, where you could put "Thriving" or "Failing" or whatever, that would be information enough. Then write about the general state of the world.

I was thinking about doing something like that, and then only writing about the most interesting things in the update. I think that could work well!

Like i said, i think it was healthy for me to take a break from this. Its been going for 25 updates which is a record for me. I've no intention of abandoning things.

I might not update again until the new year, but im not going to leave it six months or anything  :o

Sweetnes and light! ;)
