NESLife attempt #3

I'm sorry, but I'm really busy right now with a few things. Could you ask me again on the weekend?

Fun Fact:

That story I wrote is actually based in a real experience of mine. A few months ago in my Zoology class, almost that exact thing happened, almost. The lecture was about Sponges (not Yellow Bathysplates) and most of the class was bored, but also quiet, and no one really talked to much. The teacher wasn't a drunk who had given up on the students either, in fact he was a pretty cool teacher who actually made sponges much more interesting then they deserve. The girl texting was real, and so was the kid falling asleep in the back of the class. For that kid was me. It was hard, I tried to stay awake and take notes, but I kept falling asleep, so finally I stopped taking notes and tried to just listen, focus entirely on listening to him, but it still failed. I still fell asleep. Anyways, sorry for the needless spam. :)

Order of Images: Top Right, Bottom Right, Top Left, Bottom Left.

If anyone can overlap these into one image, they can have a legible, grand tree of life.

@Lord Iggy, I don't want to hassle you, but only the bottom right corner is showing :( I assume there should be four pictures?

@bestshot, I see, thats interesting :)

Yay, I feel special... okay now time to get back to the game...

Flannelworm: bestshot9
Evolved from: Leafworm
Survival Status: ?
Genes (10): Digging x3, Water Retention x3, Crawling x 1, Eating Dead Things x1, Eating Plants x1, Reproduction x1
Genes added: Digging x1, Water Retention x1, Eating Plants x1, Reproduction x1
Description: The Flannelworm, a new evolution of the old leafworm, has gone from being a decomposer, to somewhat of a parasite. With flannels popping up all over, the Flannelworm evolved to be able to dig into the plant, and feed on its leaves and fruit. They have also seemed to have evolved a faster, much more efficient way of reproducing, giving birth to much larger numbers, and healthier offspring, then the leafworms. They still retain the ability to eat decaying plant matter and other dead stuff should they encounter a time when healthy flannels are not around. Also, their bodies have become better adapted at retaining water, so they do not need to spend their entire lives in moist soil any longer.

Leatherback worm:RFHolloway
Evolved from: Caveworm
Genes (20): Digging x2, Water Retention x 2, Crawling x 1, Eating Dead Things x2, Mass Reproduction x1, Jaws x2, Communal Behaviour x4, Plant Eating x2, Complex Stomach x1, Smelling x1, Scent Glands x1, Cold Resistance x1

added - tough skin x2 crawling x1

Description:

The leatheback worms were noted for their tougher skin, this provided defense from some of their predators. They could also move more quickly to escape.

Otterus Scraper: Charles Li
Evolved from: Lung Scraper
Survival Status: Competing
New Genes: Swiming x1 Planteating x1 Brain x1
Genes (18): Skeleton x1, Jaws x1, Plant Eating x4, Swimming x3, Eyes x1, Gills x1, Water Retention x2, Crawling x2, Lungs x2 Brain x1
Description: The ancient Lung Scraper, older and more abundent than the Ol Scraper. Finally evolved into a new creature. Interestingly, although they too walked down the plant path they instead head for the sea. Indeed, some scientists label it as an really primitave form of an otter, signaled by it's slightly larger brain that allows it to think more often and sometimes 'prepare' meals by stockpiling food until they and their family are truely hungry.

OOC: I was choosing between Ol Scraper and Lung Scraper. But since the Ol didn't have retract-able spikes yet. I choose this one. It will eventually split to an Otterus line and a Ampalian line. Wish me luck! Indeed! It is more complex than Ols Now! :o Also, it is not a complex brain.. Just one that can sort through when to eat instead of keep eating/run/sleep comands and more like store/home/sleep/run/eat comands (just 2 more!) more complex should have more comands (like run to grove, dive underwater, stay still and hide ect.) Just an Idea to keep you from kill it because it can't feed its brain!

Could you show the shellsters, moss, and jubblers?

Repeating as you asked......

Bonus points for anyone that can recognize my avatar.

LI: no, it is not an ent, but a hint:

Spoiler The Old :
Greater Landtupler: C&civ3
Evolved from: Landupler
Survival Status: Competing
Genes (31): Crawling x2, Plant Eating x3, Flesh Eating x1, Complex Stomach x2, Claws x3, Cold Resistance x1, Communal Behaviour x2, Brain Power x3, Eyes x2, Skeleton x1, Tough Skin x1, Fat Reserves x1, Digging x1, Parenting Instinct x2, Water Retention x3, Lungs x1, Walking x2.
Description: The Greater Landtupler was little larger an the Landtupler but generally the looked the same at least on the outside which as lead to many Evolutionary scientists to believe that Greater Landtupler is only just sub-Species of Landtupler not a Species. On the inside the Greater Landtupler has larger brain and stomach compare to earlier Landtupler them smarter and better at possessing plant material. Finally their skin also better at holding water and make them able to travel farer inland.

Evolves to:

Gigatupler : C&civ3
Evolved from: Greater Landupler
Gene added (3): Large Size +2, Skeleton +1
Gene removed: Digging -1, Crawling -2
Description: When people found the first Plutonodupler though they was largest the land animal that will ever live on Delta Panzerus, by now they found a Gigatupler. Gigatupler is looks super size version of the Landtupler. As became larger their it's bones strengthen to allow it to grow to “super size”, to allow adult Gigatupler to become more to less too big for most predators to attack them and a group of them normally easily catch away any thing which so much as looked at their young. However the size grown cause it to lost it's crawling and digging ability.

Side note I know what/who squid1111 avatar is

Spoiler :
Boaradid: NPC
Evolved from: Diggadid
Survival Status: Endangered
Genes (28): Crawling x2, Plant Eating x2, Complex Stomach x2, Claws x3, Cold Resistance x1, Exoskeleton x2, Eyes x2, Water Retention x3, Poison resistance x1, Lungs x1, Vibration Sense x2, Brain Power x1, Digging x2, Parenting Instinct x1, Walking x1, Flesh Eating x1, Communal Behaviour x1.
Description: The last Diggadids in Falciria were being forced into extinction by the Toxidids. Some managed to survive by finding a new niche. Boaradids are omnivores with a taste for both plants and meats. Their legs began to change for more efficient long-distance travel above ground, though they still spend alot of time digging and rooting around for things to eat. Although they still can't move very fast, their powerful claws and relatively good senses allow them to hunt slow or otherwise vulnerable animals. They have also begun to stay together in small groups

Endodid
Genes Added (Max 3): Eyes x1, Brain Power x1, Walking x1
Genes Removed (Max 3):Poison Resistance x1, Digging x1
Description: Hunting above ground was much more involved than the simple grubbing for food the old Diggadid's where used too. The Boaradid started coming above ground but the Endodids took it one step further. By leaving behind their poison resistance and some of there digging ability they where able to refocus some energy to other things. Mainly there eyes and brain power. Both of these would help greatly for moving back into "light" permanently, lastly they became better "walkers" moving further away from the crawling of their ancestors.
