Net neutrality, Roaming: Though struggling in the US, at least winning in the EU!

Every democracy has a de-facto two-party system: The coalition and the opposition.

Except for democracies that don't have this coalition/opposition split up...

Top EU court rejects EU-wide data retention law :goodjob:
Sure does. :)

Historical note: Only two political parties in Norway wanted the Data Retention Law (DLD in Norwegian): The Right and the Labour Party. In other words, the two largest parties in their respective political blocks both supported this abomination! :(

Anyways,

The Norwegian government didn't seem too happy about the ruling, but the coalition partners seem to have put on the pressure, so finally today the Norwegian prime minister announced that Norway is throwing away the DLD which should have been implemented during 2015! [party]

The bad news is that they say they will start over again and try to implement another Data Retention Law. And there's no way to vote it to go away since the biggest party in each coalition wants to spy on their own citisens! :aargh:
