I am actually finishing a game in the previous beta so apologies if this has been fixed already but what is with the crazy long wait for a city to raze?
I have just finished a war in which I captured several useless cities (no resources at all, tiny peninsula) so I decided to torch them, 10 turns later I was scrolling past and these cities were still burning and when I checked to see how long it was going to take it was still going to be another 21 turns!
I get it was a big city of around 21 pop but I thought this was crazy this was 30 odd turns that I had to defend a city I didn't even want which was busy producing rebels which sucked up even more units and it was a complete pain in the posterior even some of the smaller cities I was burning where taking forever.
So anyway can the raze time be (drastically) lowered say 5 turns for every 10 pop maybe? That would still give you ample time to recapture if necessary.

I think time to raze cities is 1 turn per citizen.
(You can double it with an autocraty tenet)

Resistance time can also be significantly reduced if you have :tourism:Tourism influence over a civ.

I feel like the Dromon is way too strong of a unit. Playing on a tiny map, the 2 tile range is annihilating everything around it. Spain has a whole fleet of them on my current play through and you cant even get close to them.

e: Found a Dromon thread and posted in there.

They are fairly easy to kill with melee ships.

My complaint with the dromon is that the attack animation takes forever.

If you are referring to the graphical glitches you have reported on GitHub, I play with Ethnic Units mod too and I am not having any problems. I am not playing with the JFD's mods (yet), so my situation can be different from yours though. Have you tried lowering the graphics settings to the minimum?

*bangs head against wall* At the moment switching the overlay to medium and turning off high texture strategic view and the gpu thing seems to have fixed it.

Glad to hear it helped. As I wrote on GitHub, I remember I once suddenly started getting weird graphical glitches (red artifacts or black squares instead of some icons) when playing with CBP. I cannot remember what settings it was exactly, but lowering all the settings to minimum and then gradually increasing various settings bit by bit helped me to identify the culprit.

One thing to be careful about is that if your gpu downloads new drivers automatically, it might change some settings by itself - I do not let my nVidia card readjust gpu settings for games automatically after the new drivers have been downloaded.

Your glitches are exactly what I've been having. I just don't understand why things went from working fine to glitching out....

How long do you have to wait to make a peace deal, (just took Denmark's capital) 5-10 turns?

You don't have to wait. Just took Japan's capital in one of my games, made peace the same turn with capitulation.

Also, for those talking about the graphical glitches and artifacts or black squares replacing some icons, I have experienced the same issues. Reloading save doesn't fix it, but restarting the game does. Similar effect as playing with graphics settings I presume.

I don't think that the graphics driver is the reason for the issues. I heard that this is because of the GPU processing feature that don't like anything beyond vanilla textures.
I never found a solution for this except turning this feature off. In my opinion there is no quality or performance loss, however I noticed that while playing around with 2k terrain textures, that they will look sharper without the GPU feature.

This is something that I just noticed, and I'm not sure if it's intentional/just how the system works, but none of my puppet cities ever produce any buildings in the latest beta. Not sure if this is a bug or not. Right now puppeted cities are my largest single source of unhappiness with each generating around -5 to -7 (not in resistance, purely based on Needs). This is because all of them refuse to produce any of the relevant buildings to match their needs. In fact, every single one of them (currently have 6 in the game I'm playing) is producing Arts (culture).

Could this be a bug? If not, I think it would make sense to add some functionality to have puppet cities prioritize the production of buildings that match their happiness Needs. Currently they're all just resource farms... And it's almost better to annex them because despite the -50% need modifier they all still have higher needs than every city I personally control, and it's not even worth purporting for extra luxuries or strategic resources. Especially not luxuries because you always operate at a net loss.

Just received a gift from a CS ally although considering the time period I'm not sure I will know what to do with it!

Not sure if this a vanilla quirk that still exists or something new, at any rate it is something that perhaps could be examined. Era specific gifts.

is Harbour still granting water connection or have gazebo changed something ? Because I don't negate isolation when I build harbour in coastal cities on different continents. I double-checked, my capital has got a harbour.

Can you please remove this feature "civ has brokered peace of your behalf". It makes no sense whatsoever, there has never been a peace deal brokered in history where one party does not agree to peace.

How can Germany just declare the war that they started is over, where is the logic?? There is no such thing as declaring peace on someone.

Might be a stupid question, but you have a scouted the entire waterway between them, right? City-connections can't go through fog (and a harbor in one sea does not automatically connect with a harbor in another sea)

I will triple-check with your notes in mind.

Nope, it's probably something different, reloading did not fix it for me. The baffling part is it started suddenly without warning about 1 year ago. For Skaz it started now. It was happening only when CP was active. I suspect the new drivers of the graphic card were downloaded and changed some settings without permission. Or what Estebanium said. Whatever it was, good that we know how to fix it :-)
