It's great. I'm speechless.

W Firaxis and all devs, narrators, creators, allof you. You are just pure LOVE!!

Moderator Action: Attention, thread renamed. This is NOT an official trailer for an expansion, but only an official short, funny clip. Some dumbass just uploaded it with a wrong title to youtube.

It's a work of Art.
And a lot of people seems to consciously take the wrong path, perceiving that Lady as a Mongol leader, forcibly making an association that is just what it is...
There's a binding that seems needs to be broken with some sort of Demon that wants his virgins for breakfast...
I'd give them some dolls and take some turns watching them fight with each other over that doll than walk away and come back when there is only one left...

Of course there's always two interpretations for everything.
One is subjective. The other also.

I think his point was that Firaxis needs to focus on fixing the game instead of spending money on self-indulgent clap-trap.
And my point was that this has literally nothing to do with the resource available for fixing the game.

Are you guys done whining yet? Someone (probably not even Firaxis!) made a meh ad. Big whoop.

Can we go back to talking about the game now?

edit: there is nothing "woke" about black women existing in positions of power???? That's not political. That's... part of the game. Amina is in the game. By pointing it out as something of note you're revealing your biases very plainly...

oh my goodness. You are being obtuse. I made a joke about it costing $500 to make the crappy advertisement and maybe they should have not made the advertisement but use the money for a better product. It wasnt meant to be analyzed and to discuss a business model. It was a joke that the money was better spent elsewhere.

Sorry for missing what you intended as a joke, but it the amount didn't really matter to what I was talking about. It could've cost £2,000 and my point would've been the same. Apologies again.

I don't care about all that other stuff, what's really important is that the Ad implies that they were able to rename their civilization, which is not a feature currently in the game. They should add that feature so that the Ad can at least be accurate.
I figured that the new city was Puddington rather than the new civilization.

The thread title reminds me of the Bush/Blair teleconference videos for the Warlords expansion for Civilization IV. It's hard to imagine how something like that would be received these days.
