I have seen 2 youtubers (Potato and Saxy Gamer, both got warning of the frontier pass) both call it Bermuda Triangle with confidence so I assume it is confirmed.

BUT "Meteoric Iron" was a real thing, in many cases considered to have 'magic' properties and in more prosaic cases providing some really pure iron deposits for primitive 'steel' working. A meteor Impact Crater could legitimately be a source for a Special Resource type of Iron.
But I'd bet they don't get that complicated, and it's just an Iron source for the players that feel their game is no longer playable if they have no access to Iron resource in the Classical Era (and who have a point, if their nearest neighbors are Mongolia, Aztecs, Zulu and Rome and they don't have access to either Iron OR horses!)
Nah. Lake with Spanish-moss-covered trees: it's Okefenokee Swamp and gives you access to the I Go Pogo Great Work which makes your entire civilization a lot funnier.
Don't know if it was mentioned before, but this unit was identified by SaxyGamer and Potato McWhiskey as the "Soothsayer", a unit specific to Apocalypse mode; SaxyGamer further elaborated that it's a unit you can send into foreign territory to call down disasters on your opponents.
Free automatic healing and upgrade to units who fortify next to it.
Because we all know that archers are historically "younger" than slingers.
It's wishful thinking.
Maybe you can demobilize units ... like in time of peace use them as population for cities, and when you need them you would just mobileze them in one or two turns instead of bulding them again.
I suspect the Bermuda triangle is categorized as a wonder but only can show up when playing in apocalyptic mode. And it has some sort of disastrous effect.
Potato McWhiskey said of the Bermuda Triangle that it was a wonder, but was specific that it was not part of the Apocalypse mode. Make of that what you will.

I imagine it would need to have a risk/benefit mechanic for people to actually want to risk their ships or aircraft go through it. like a random chance of getting extra movement, or a free promotion, but also a chance to loosing the unit instantly.

I also noticed in the video A leader in the top right that doesn't look. like one of the current leaders along with that I also see Bogota and other cities in Blue and Yellow. I also noticed some new UU Calvary at the beginning of the video. Grand Columbia for sure.
