New natural wonders over-representated?

Sadly doesn't count as a lake for Aztecs

You also can't move a boat into it if it's by a coastal city. It's considered a mountain like other wonders.

It's weird that the lake is a mountain.

I've seen lake victoria a lot and Solomons mines a few times but never Kilimanjaro in my games.

I had Solomon's Mines in one game, but haven't noticed it in any others. I think I've only ever seen Fountain of Youth once in all my Civ5 games.

Half the time I find a wonder it seems to be in a city state's land.

I've noticed this and wonder why.

My theory is that whilst civilizations are programmed to not spawn very close to natural wonder, city states do not have this restriction. There will therefore be plenty of space available near the natural wonders, making a city state spawning there more likely.

Mt bloody Sinai, every single time. I don't care about 8 faith half the time. Mt Kilimanjaro also appears very often as well as Uluru. I rarely see Skillderado or Barrier Reef, but I did find Barrier Reef as spain on turn 14 once; I quit because it was kinda too easy to have 3 cities at turn 20.
