CTD at turn 123 Epic speed as The Celts.
Had a nuts start with Cerunous the horned stag but even loading an earlier save results in CTD.

Huh, guess I have to make the function redirect to AttemptToPlaceForestAtGrassPlot in AssignStartingPlots for the mapscripts that override NormalizeStartLocation.

Either way, stop using Communitas. Communitu_79a is there for a reason.

Looking forward to trying out the new version, starting with the Celts and their improved pantheons! For what it's worth, I've played about 80 turns in with no CTD, nor issue loading autosaves.

I tried a game without Communitu_79a and still get the same CTD without being able to load a save.
 
Still can't download it. It just takes me to the Mega home page. Tried cut and paste instead of click and tried both Chrome and Edge. Any alternate links? Thanks!

I didn't have any issue with my download earlier today (five hours ago roughly?). I did run into a crash on turn 135, epic speed, with no mods - same problem with loading earlier saves. The initial save loads fine though. Writing up a Github report now.

That said, I'm already liking some of the changes/fixes. Militaristic city-states now offer the usual variety of units, which is excellent. I like the new Celt pantheons as well.

Edit: report submitted. Seems to be triggering on settling a new city (my 4th in this case).

As pointed out by @usadefcon1 on github, if you come across CTD issue and can't load saves, try loading up the turn 1 autosave. If you can do that, you may then be able to load your more recent saves. Strange, but it worked for me too.

Thanks! Works for me too. I can say for sure that settling a new city was what caused the crash for me now. It happens if I settle the same settler a couple of turns earlier. And from that point trying to load saves causes a crash again. I'm going to try the T1 then T133 thing again.

Was able to load to turn 135 (when the crash initially occured) in the end. The game continues fine so long as I don't settle another city :|.

Yeesh, that guy's like twice my age and his leg is significantly more flexible than mine. I think that should serve as a wake-up call.

Hmmm, I remember the same thing was happening about 2-ish years ago. Loading the turn 1 autosave fixing it. Maybe the cause is the same as before?

I had been doing this... until all of my autosaves magically disappeared, leaving only the initial save available.
 
Sorry if this is a bit of a pretentious question but I just have to stop my game now and leave the house on the same turn my pantheon choice popped up! Any ideas on what is the ?best? pantheon for the new Celtic mythology? I have a copper, coastal, river start. I'm not even sure what victory I'm going for yet. Playing - Immortal, large, epic, Celts with Egypt close. Greece and Mongolia are hovering around out there somewhere... I'll check back tonight if anyone has any advice and make a choice. Cheers! (turn 55 no CTD)
 
Dunno.

By the way, I started a new game and the same thing happened in the same manner. Fourth city caused the crash. I thought it might be related to Tradition so I went Authority this time but no luck. Have anyone been playing a civ that isn't the Celts? That was the next thing I was going to test.
