New Units: 3 Elves for LOTM or medieval (December 21, 2005)

Simply outstanding. Them sucker Civ4 players don't know what they're missing. ;)

Many thanks, utah!

This is some very impressive work. Just great attention to every little detail.

The lower armor on the spearman waving, the head scratch, etc are just brilliant.

But, I think I like your cocky bowman taking a bow even more. That is one of the most amusing victories in a month of sundays.

Elves damnit, they are only allowed to be used as elves!!! :)
Actually, I had a feeling a lot of folks could use these units in various ways which is always nice to see.

Utah's units are always so impressive and we have been fortunate enough to get a lot of his help for LotM units. Thanks Utahjazz!!! These exceeded my already high expectations from you!

For anyone interested, here is the source of the request (Illustrations originally found by Mithadan). I think it's always neat to see how these images or illustrations make it to a fully rendered model:

Great work! And the shield of the swordsman is simply fantastic!

Excellent! They are generic enough, so I can use them to fill some gaps in version 2 of my mod.
You would not feel like making some Indians (from India, not America) or Muslims units, would you?
Oh, yes!!! I would like such units as well. :)

And thanks for the Elves. :goodjob:

Thank you Utahjazz! They're absolutely gorgeous, and will be added promptly.
:D

Wow! These are great! Yipee!

These are great units, UJ7.. The swordsman in particular is perfect for the Hokuten Knights of Ivalice (FFT civ in the FF mod).

Thank you, everyone, for your nice words. I'm glad that these guys'll be able to fill so many varied roles.

I'm really interested to know what Plotinus has up his sleeve for the bowman though. :)

Again, Merry Christmas.

I think you'll see soon enough. In fact I put the Spearman in too. Thank you!
