Next patch anticipation thread

tomorrow, 19th Jan is 90 days after release, where Aztecs should become available to everyone. So I think we should see a patch tomorrow, which among other stuff brings in the game, right?

Quite possibly but there has been some quite historical upsets in expectations of late.

If one peruses the program files both the Aztecs and the two new DLC releases, Poland and the Norse Scenario, are already in there on your PC.

Maybe they'll release the keycodes for all three of them..........

Last time I checked the last update was 11 months old, so there is a bit of hope here (that will get it one day, I won't bet anything on tomorrow... )

Aztecs unlocked plus a patch that fixes pretty much nothing.

Has anyone heard even a whiff of anything about Isabella? It would make sense to drop Isabella (and let's assume the leaked leaderboard image of Isabella of Portugal was simply the wrong Isabella Googled by an intern) with the Aztecs, and maybe another Mesoamerican civ. Or maybe it is Portugal, with an Explorers or New World expansion pack (wishful thinking)

That's the only thing pointing to a DLC at this point. There are no new DLCS on the SteamDB, no new Achievements, and no updates on QA branches to indicate a patch is being tested.

The only thing being worked on in an obvious way is the Linux version.

Check their youtube channel. They have been doing a video a week since early December, which led up to the winter patch and Poland after an absence since release. The video releases have continued since Poland with the most recent one yesterday.

It's probably a bit too soon after Poland and Vikings for another DLC, but a patch is possible.
A patch that contains an Aztec nerf.
