Next patch anticipation thread

I wouldn't expect a patch for AWHILE, maybe a month. Don't expect one until 2k_qa D is updated. As for achievements dont expect a patch until after a week that u see new achievements added. 2K dont give a crap about anything but the bottom line. No reason to hype anything as there is nothing.

Considering that last patch was in december and game still has some very obvious and not insignificant bugs, not to mention some very glaring balance issues, it would be a big surprise to me if a patch is not close to release - and I don't quite buy your story about 2K not caring at all about the game, even if they might not care as much as we want them to.

I dont care what you buy... if they did care then they would communicate or try to get patches out quicker. Maybe they just have inept coders working for firaxis. IDK But I do know that if they wanted to they could fix all the bugs and release a thing called HOTFIXES. This is 2017, not 2000. I dont particularly care for the game anymore nor Firaxis.

The way Firaxis deals with its most loyal fans (here on civfanatics) is something to learn from. Don't communicate at all and let them fans guess what is happening, as they will be foolish enough to buy all DLCs and expansions anyway.

I am not missing playing with Poland at all...the only thing I will pay for is a better AI, I expect the rest of the bugs patched foc

Well I get his point. I too am a bit disappointed they don't fix apparently easy to fix problems like for instance the previous production view. It makes the developers appear incompetent which they certainly are not. Even though I don't understand though I don't think there's a point in grumbling around and hating.

I'll keep waiting and hoping for a patch soon that especially addresses the district costs. I feel their cost progression is too hard.

2Kqa_d isn't part of the cycle this time around. I doubt it will be updated at all. They have just been using a, b, and c, over and over.
