NiaoMeow's Civs

1- Yes. Even though they share a leader and an icon (and almost a UU), they have been a civ I have wanted to make since I got into civ.
2- Ok, that's great! I find Modern Mongolia really interseting, so I may bump them up a bunch (I only have 4 civs I am really serious about making right now). I also have almost no idea what I want the icon to icon to look like/what the icon should look like. It's really up to you.

There are lots of stuff I can do with Mongolia, but first I need to know if it's 1920s Mongolia, socialist Mongolia or post-Socialist.

Post-Socialist Mongolia, which will be focused on Shamanism, religion and vast tracts of land.

All of that sounds more Pre-Modern Mongolia than it does Modern Mongolia.

If your have trouble with leaderscenes like I have been recently use this nifty guide here.

Here they are. Some have more than one choice, just say which you prefer and I'll provide the alphas. Also, I'll say it again: are you really sure this is what you want for Taiwan? I've just noticed that it will not only look exactly like DJSHenniger's Taiwan, but also JFD's China. There are other things I could do, so if you change your mind, I'll do it.

Spoiler :

Agh no, you've made the same symbols that I had for mongolia and you made them better.

Wow thanks!

1: I get what you are saying about Taiwan, so I would love to see your other ideas. I still really like the sun, but I don't want to have much overlap with DJS'.

2: I think the best NYC icon is the third, because it has just the right about of detail.

3: I really like the colors you picked! They are both really cool, but I like the brighter purple better.

4: I like the second icon better, but the other ones also look cool and would work.

Thanks!

Here are the alphas and palettes, alongside a couple more choices for Taiwan. Plus slightly modified versions of some icons to improve some things.

Spoiler :

Thanks for the icons! I think I will use the cherry blossom, but I also really like the Taipei 101- I will definitely use it in my modern Taiwan... ;)

Update on the Comanche: All art is accounted for, and I am almost finished with the code. All I need now is a building icon and a new Shoshone unique. Anyone got ideas?

Also, this is a UA I came up with (is it balanced/fun?)

-20% growth rate, but gain +1 :c5citizen: population every time a luxury resource is improved. All civilian units gain the woodsman promotion.

Funnily enough, NYC is not the capital of New York.

Funnily enough, NYC is not the capital of New York.

This is very common in America. Tallahassee is the capital of Florida instead of Miami, Sacramento is California's capital instead of Los Angeles, Harrisburg is the capital of Pennsylvania instead of Philadelphia, Austin is the capital of Texas instead of Houston, Springfield is the capital of Illinois instead of Chicago, etc.

Hmmm

Mongolia
UA: Land of the Eternal Blue Sky
Farms and pastures grant +1% :c5culture: culture and +1% :c5faith: faith to the city working them if built on flatland, doubled during building construction. After picking an ideology, receive +1 :c5happy: happiness in cities for each religion present in them and -1% :c5unhappy: unhappiness from population for each :c5culture: social policy adopted.

UI: Ger
The Ger is unlocked at trapping and may grow into a village or town, like a trading post (with CiD). It yields +1 :c5food: food, but must be built on a flatland, never adjacent to another Ger. It yields +1 :c5culture: culture culture and :c5faith: faith if owned by city you founded, and additional +1 :c5culture: culture after picking an ideology. All of the Ger's yields are increased by +1 for 5 turns after a citizen of his city has adopted an religion.

Can't think of another unique... :p
