Honestly I probably shouldn't have subbed in, I haven't had enough time to do more than catch up
I'll try to have a talk with you after I get home from the water park today.

My case on him is as follows: His contributions so far were an inane vote on someone who gave information to the thread (Riedquat) and then an OMGUS on me when I voted him. Nothing else. Its been long enough now to contribute more than that.

Why is this suddenly such a popular case? I don't know, but I'm sticking with it because he still hasn't said anything.

Okay so my understanding of the jht wagon is you're voting him for acting like jht. Are lurkers gonna get lynched now, too? If you want to be consistent.

So I've had a skim through and Kennigit, KM, Classical, robbiecon and Double A are pretty much inactive. The mafia is definitely up and about so unless more people wake up, town is doomed.



Voting for inactives seems fairly pointless right now.

Takhisis - As mentioned before, I think he has been no where near as active as I've known him to be in the past, which may be a sign of wanting to stay out of the limelight
classical_hero - Not many posts, except suggesting we should lynch off one of the extreme inactives [Perhaps bussing an inactive teammate?]
King Morgan - The suggested lynch from classical_hero. Posted once so far, and inactive teammate is no use, but lynching him might buy yourself some brownie points

Well, since this game has subs, then an inactive teammate can get replaced and become useful again, so their still a concern for the town.

Indeed, they would be lovely.

Unfortunately I only post thoughts on who is guilty and who is innocent based on strong evidence or gut feelings. Half baked and illogical cases don't cut it for me, crazy I know, but that's me.

In saying that, I'm pretty sure you are town. I'm not sure why Jarrema finds your throwing baseless accusations around scummy, it's the towniest thing I know.

Voting for spaceman isn't a good idea IMO. It doesn't sound like he wanted to start a bandwagon to begin with-- it's all those who voted JHT without reason who are more suspicious.

I'm not seeing scum in BL. His analysis of bladescape sounds townie to me.

I'm inclined to cast my suspicions on the bandwagoners, like Riedquat, sprig, and Jarrema. You three cast somewhat meaningless votes for JHT this phase, and Riedquat was operating exactly like that last phase too. What gives?

1: I was saying we should lynch him yesterday, first because his posts were questionable (lacking content), second because I saw little merit in lynching bladescape.

2: I stopped because he finally responded with something semi-substantive, which many people like Kennigit (whose said NOTHING but is in no danger of being WOGed due to his one post) haven't done

3: A player of my caliber: lol. Right now, I'm a player dealing with illness and Summer Quarter finals.

Why make this statement? The vote wouldn't have made a difference (he "lost" by two). Why make the vote now? Why do you think he's scum? You never mentioned the reasoning behind the vote.

I want to point out that the only reason the vote on jht got on the larger side was because you made it so. Sprig -> Visor -> spaceman, then briefly Jarrema (as an aside, I have a slight lean to Jarrema as town. Scum wouldn't risk the exposure of jumping on fourth right after day break, unless of course the plan all long was jump on then immediately retract feigning ignorance all the way. I'm leaning towards the former; the latter gains nothing as scum). It's not like you were first, watched the votes pile on, then went "whoa, slow down" here. I'm getting the impression you're trying really hard to look town here.

Dusk Day 2​

There was no question today that decisive action must be taken. Initially some suspicion was thrown on the Sheaim refugee, given his dubious provenance, but as the day dragged on, the calls for blood coalesced around two targets. Many dwarves called for the head of the general, perhaps for failure to properly secure the camp, or perhaps because it was thought he could more readily have gotten to their fallen leader. The second was the Priest of Leaves. The presence of a non-elven Priest of Leaves was a confusing element, particularly for the conservatively designed golems, and so they acted to simplify the situation. The clockwork and nullstone golems strode up to the poor priest, grabbed his limbs and walked in opposite directions. The result was ugly, and lethal.

A search of his tent revealed only his staff and the meager possessions he'd escaped with from Elohim lands, so they were forced to the conclusion that

Disappointed by the lack of success in rooting out enemies, but feeling better for at least having done something, the assembled forces went their separate ways, barring their doors against the dangers of the night and praying to their diverse gods to let them see the morning.

Where was this reasoning yesterday? If you thought the lynch on blade was bad, why didn't you speak up? It's incredibly easy to say after he's dead and revealed as town that the case had no merit. If john was looking so scummy and you weren't feeling bladescape, why didn't you push harder on jht's lynch? It's not like you didn't have time.
