NOTW XLIII - The Walkingdead!

TheForestAuro. I'm personally not in favor of going back into zombie territory, which would be the only way to get an antidote if it exists, so we have to prevent zombie infection. Bad luck for Timmy.

I forgot to scan last night!!! Although I think we will be lynching someone else today...

Really... And yeah, who hates the Farmers and killed Seon? DaveShack as a lynch yesterday, well it happened when we didn't have a way to have no lynch and other people had vouches or votes in their favor while we knew too little about DaveShack. But someone with a gun has gone rogue.

As for the location discussion, the way I see it, there's only two known reasons to attempt to go into zombie territory again. For all pratical purposes that means the Research Center, we don't even have a clue what other unvisited places are worth a risk.

1) First possibility, which we at least have evidence backing up, is to try to acquire the zombie virus antidote the Company developed

This seems possible, but if something goes wrong given the other risks and estimates of a zombie raid, we're still in trouble. Of course, if we don't find the item(s) then that's absolutely terrible.

2) Resolve "something else" about the zombie mystery. Bad Player and classical_hero have personal goals, or anyone else who has some personal goal could supposedly see to that. I'd stress the rest of us are really not clear what this "something else" might even end up being.

Despite whatever weapons we have and with the number of people we have, I think some people may be infected or die in any serious clash with zombies anyway. And that's without unknown risks that, say, the remaining Company Agents have a way to cause more chaos while we're in the midst of zombies.

If we stay out of zombie territory we should be able to eliminate the remaining Company agents and any other scum or non-townies without nearly as much risk, through lynch or vigilante-ism.

So I don't see both known reasons to raid zombie territory as being enough to take the risk. If anyone has more to share, now is the time to make this decision.

Where to go next I'm not exactly sure. However, we can always go back to a safe place we've been before; I'd be in favor of that. No more risks without Kennigit being absolutely certain a new place is clear and people being in agreement. We should then have a large number of roughly cleared townies and the votes and abilities to just kill the human scum, and hopefully that settles things.

We were in the Coast guard and we got someone bitten, so that means it does not matter where we are, so it makes sense to go to the source of the infection and see if it there is a cure there. Research Centre is again my choice to go, since we did not take a risk and we got an infection, so it seems that taking a risk is worth it, since not taking a risk got an infection.

TheForestAuro since he claimed to have been bitten, which is quite sad, that we have not found an zombies yet. Backwards Logic

TheForestAuro just to be safe. Anyone else get bitten we should know about?

anyways, although the radio station may be infected, I'd rather not go to the research centre where more people would get bit.

we didn't stay for 2 days last time at the radio station, but the radios there are functional and we can call in airlifts/outsiders if we stay (I assume, since that was the option takhisis posted).

I scanned there being radios and such, and even was told that the radios can be used to call outside help, but the first time we went we didn't have radios up for vote.

so, radio station

TFA. Coffee goes to Backwards Logic.

I’m fine with moving back to the Radio Station.

IIRC, the symptoms take a couple days to develop. So he might not have been bitten at the Coast Guard necessarily, just somewhere over the past few days.

Even so, I would prefer to keep moving, and help can't be a bad thing. Radio Station.

BTW, Do I need to unvote my abstaining? Abstain, just in case.

Note that we'd have to stay 2 days at the radio station probably, so other possibilites can be good. Just I don't think there will be a "cure" for the zombie virus and we've gone to plenty of the useful sites, IMO.

If you're deleting PMs I recommend that you download bulk .txt copies. It's easy, and very helpful.

No, that's the opposite of true. Yesterday the Detective Agency we were at was infested with zombies, with the group having voted to go there two days before, and that almost certainly caused TFA to get bitten. The evidence still strongly seems to indicate that we can keep people from being infected by staying away from any more zombie locations.

It's a bit confusing nobody got any special abilities done at the Radio Station the first time but I'm willing to go there again, sounds good.

TFA and the Radio Station sound good to me for today.

and classical_hero, the way it happened last time (and it seems to be the same this time), we were surrounded at our previous location, and when we fought out he got bit, not at our new location.

It's either letting you argue stuff openly than keeping the thread closed for a couple days. (Hey! This threads not for discussing what you should discuss!)
