I think Dazz is missing for now as all of the games I have with him are held up…and he doesn't even have the United States holiday of "Thanksgiving" as an excuse.

I've tried to contact Dazz, but have had no response. None of you have had contact with him in another game have you?

No, I haven't seen him in a while. However, I'm not in other games with him right now.

What do you think we should do? Still no word. I think we should wait a month at least. After that I don't know what to do. I would be happy to wait three months if he only had told us what was going on, but this is an open ended fear.

I'm also a little scarred because Dazz has always kept us informed before whenever he couldn't play for an extended period of time. I hope nothing really bad happened to him. Like death. . .or a girl not letting him play anymore!

It's only been two weeks since we last heard from Dazz. I agree, he is usually dependable. I don't mind waiting another 2-3 weeks for him. I hate to replace him and then he comes back.

I get on a plane tomorrow to head to the the big desert in the Middle East. My access to the internet will/might be sporadic until I get established in about two weeks. Not to fear, I will have my laptop with me and nothing can stop me from playing Civ!

Tim, I hope it is the latter with Dazz_G. He even let us know about his house fire last year. I don't mind waiting. Unless you have his password what is the alternative?

I don't have his password, but with the game password I believe we can turn him into an AI opponent.

the utility 'saveconvert' will enable you to swap out a human for an AI and the password doesn't come into it.

Either way we will just have to be patient until DogBoy Reappears on the grid.
