Nude beaches are great. They are some of the few things I really miss about no longer living in California. There are only a handful of nude beaches in Florida, all on the other coast.

I thought nude beaches were banned here in the US?

I've noticed that all nudists I've ever seen are not the kind of people you ever want to see nude. There's a nude beach here in NJ and I recommend everyone stay away like it's the plague.

There are nudist colonies too. One year my dad has this crazy idea to live outside of town (about 50 miles), I won't say exactly where to protect my privacy. But there is a nudist colony out there. My dad was drunk one time (and yes he was driving) and took me to the nudist colony. I was 6 years old at the time. I think it's the main reason why I love nude women so much. My mind was warped. It was actually pretty good. There were a lot of younger women there and teenagers. Which begs the question. How is underage girls being nude not illegal? Not a big deal as I was only 6, so it was okay that I found them hawt. In case anyone was wondering, my dad and I kept our clothes on. It's clothing optional.

As for nudity being comfortable, no it's not. I love wearing sweat pants (or shorts in the summer). You can't get any more comfortable than that. And nothing beats the convenienc of pockets. When I'm outside, I won't wear sweats, however, I wear decent pants. It looks trashy to wear sweat pants around town.

Only in the backward states.

Here in Florida you can only legally do it at federally-controlled beaches, such as Haulover in Miami and the Cape Canaveral National Seashore. But there are a lot in California. I used to go to Devil's Slide south of San Francisco all the time and some of the ones down by Santa Cruz.

Jacob Riis Park on Rockaway Beach in NYC used to have a clothing optional section, bui now you have to go to Fire Island. You can access the eastern tip by car. For the rest, you have to take one of the water taxis.

There are nudist colonies too.

There are actually a number of them in the county where I now live, but I haven't really had any desire to check them out. Caliente has been in the news lately because they are doing one of those reality TV shows there. (I had to edit out the hot link...)

The polite thing to do is to lay on your stomach. But it typically isn't a sexual thing so having an erection really isn't an issue. However, that wasn't always the case on some of the beaches in California...

I haven't found that to be true. It is much more the exception than the rule. And where it did exist, it was always confined to the more remote sections.

Why do people perform trolling in CFC? Because they like the attention, and whether it's nice attention or hostile attention is irrelevant. There are some in this world who genuinely enjoy pissing off other people, and strolling around naked is a good way to do that because it violates the sensibilities of.....well, pretty much everybody. No, that's not THE explanation, just a possible one.
