Nuke Nes: After Victoria

From: Russia
To: China

We would like to purchase Vladivostok and its surrounding regions so that our city may return to Mother Russia.

Are you willing to sell it to us?

To: Great Britain
From: UCSA

We would like to know Early Tanks and Aeroplanes, in that order. Also, would you allow construction of Pacific Naval Base on your Oregon County?

OOC#1: damn formality, its too long to write everytime

OOC#2: NK, can you make UU's?

We shall give you Early Tanks for now. And permission to construct a Pacific base in Oregon County is granted. The city of Portland is awaiting your construction team and fleet.

Aeroplanes may come next turn, we still are unsure whether it will have an impact on war or not and does not want to give it away so readily at the moment.

Much Ado About Nothing

"Good God, Thomas, Lord Governor?"
"Yes, I find it quite dashing. It could have been Governor, but the word 'Lord' adds another tier of modesty."
"Well, congratulations on unification of America. Heaven forbid such atrocity were to happen again to split the union apart."
"Don't congratulate me yet, remember Andrew Jackson and his Manifest Destiny?"
"War with Mexico? Surely, you can't go to war without permission from the king."
"Of course not. That's why my banter can be so surely forgiven. And besides, my term will be over soon."
"So what's your plan for now?"
"Take over the world."
"What? That's crazy!"
"I know. Want another drink? It's very persuasive; you'll probably change your mind."
"No, thanks. I have to go now. Again, good job on your unification."
"Thanks, do I get a big raise?"
"Just a medal. The budget isn't inexhaustible."

So much to do...

Lord Governor Thomas Haynes was sitting in his office one hot summer morning, thinking about particularly nothing, except the fact that he should be thinking about something. The fragrance of jasmine, planted just outside his window, pervaded the room with just the spike of scent to keep him awake. He had unified two Americas, both United and Confederate States, under the influence of Great Britain, but the biggest hurdle had just emerged. Reconstruction. That was the hardest part. How would he get people of two nations, which just fought their bloodiest war only sixty years ago together without a fuss? Wait, he thought, sixty years? Nah, thats enough. One thing off my mind; not that I had anything else particular. And that's how he was starting his purposely uneventful day.

As a governor of governance he was governing, the governor wasn't all that busy with his governor's governing business. Sure, there were many issues to be solved, but he wasn't at the precise moment to attend to any of them, except idly. Besides, those beauracrats from Britain will take care of most things. He just had to sign the legal papers, which he'd done all last night, every now and then. He suddenly got up from his chair, decisively jerkier than should have been, and decided to walk out onto the yard.

The yard was filled with radiant lights of the summer's morning sun, as each little drops of dew reflected the rays from the petals of bright flowers of red, yellow, pink, and purple. He could smell the aromas of numerous flowers with the fresh air of the morning. Nine-Thirty, the clock tower, not far ahead, read. It was then when he decided he would go fishing.

He had wanted to walk to the Potomac River near the white house. On his way, he passed several people: a paper boy, innocuous looking man, perhaps a politician, an old lady with brown leather bag and wide brimmed umbrella, which, obviously didn't look like the one suitable for rainy days, a group of men and women, perhaps seven altogether, and a brown cat, not that he was particularly interested in any of them, except, maybe, the news on the paper the boy was selling. Oh well, he thought, I'm the one who makes the news around here. But nonetheless, he was quite interested in the outcome of the baseball match yesterday; he was too busy signing papers.

When he left the fishing site, it was getting late. The sun was still up in the sky, enough to not get yelled at by his wife for missing supper, and the clock tower read: six-forty-three. Rather a random time to be done with anything, he mused for a moment. Then, without delay, he headed for the White House.

It wasn't far from the river, next to a lone tree, where he met a man with the name of Albert Vladmir.

"Good evening!" he said cheerfully.

"Good evening!" he replied.

"If I might ask, what are you doing here?"

"Quite particularly nothing."

"Nothing?"

"Something."

"Something?"

"Why, precisely that! I was taking off my boots."

"How is that going along?"

"Nothing to be done."

"I'm beginning to come round to that opinion. All my life I've tried to put it from me, saying Thomas, be reasonable, you haven't yet tried everything. What are you doing?"

"Taking off my boot. Did that never happen to you?"

"Aye, Boots must be taken off every day."

"Aye."

"Why don't you leave? Charming spot. Inspiring prospects."

"I can't."

"Why not?"

"I'm waiting for Abel."

"No one ever suffers but you. I don't count. I'd like to hear what you'd say if you had what I have."

"It hurts?"

"Hurts! He wants to know if it hurts!"

"You might button it all the same."

"True, never neglect the little things of life."

"What do you expect, one always wait till the last moment."

"The last moment... Hope deferred maketh the something sick, who said that?"

"Sometimes I feel it coming all the same. Then I go all queer. How shall I say? Relieved and at the same time... appalled. AP-PALLED. Funny. Nothing to be done. Well?"

"Nothing."

"It's not worthwhile now."

"No, it's not worthwhile now."

"Well, shall we go?"

"Yes, let's go."

But the man stayed under the tree even when he had crossed the street, turning a corner.

-------------------------------------------------

When, Thomas Haynes got home, it was then, he realized. He hadn't done particularly anything that day.

Again, we prefer to remain neutral for some time. We will attend to the matter later.

OOC: So much happens in 1 day of work.

@ Nuke Kid I think the economy should be more random not like EQ's but not like it is now. As it is now the smallest country could eventually have the largest economy.

Also are we able to establish research funds?

To Great Britain, Commonwealth Alliance
From Germany

We propose that all members of the Commonwealth Alliance also join the Triple Alliance while keeping the Commonwealth alliance intact to show they are part of the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth Alliance is also included in the Triple Alliance, as they will follow their mother country into war when Britain goes to war. We do not need to clutter everything up.

Commonwealth Alliance + Triple Alliance is sufficent to say that both are together and allied with each other.

OOC: What's with Silver?

Annexing Mexico Into the United States of Mexico and of Central America!

USMCA.

It's Ok, you will be a state and you can still call your lord to be Empourer of Your Lands.

Southern powerhous? Perhaps, but we warn you, should you take up arms against any nation in your north we will crush you like a bug.

An interesting prospect.... *runs off to make plans to crush USCA.*

You call us evil? The last time we checked Spain was not forcing millions of foreign subjects to be part of their nation. We seek only to improve the lives of Spanish citizens. Perhaps when you saw evil you were looking in the mirror.

OCC: As far as I can tell this is the only communist power. Therefore the Spanish Communists are not seeking World Revolution. Rather it is more nationalistic. The leaders see it as method to improve the lives of the poor people of Spain.

That explains the evil.
